Abstract: A gaming system includes a plurality of mobile gaming units, such as robots, having a first communication link for at least a plurality of messages and a video output, motors and wheels for moving the robot responsive to an input, a processor receiving at least some of the messages and providing the input, and a video camera providing the video output, which includes a representation of another robot and/or at least a portion of a gaming environment. The gaming system also includes controllers for the robots. The controllers include a second communication link in communication with at least one of the first communication links for at least the messages and the video output, a display displaying the video output from the second communication link, an input device having an output, and a processor receiving the output of the input device and providing at least some of the messages.
