  • Publication number: 20230338171
Abstract: A sensor assembly for a prosthetic socket may include one or more sensors, such as an electromyography (EMG) sensor, a force sensor, and/or a displacement sensor, for example a magnetic sensor and a magnet. The sensor assembly may be capable of determining if the socket has a proper fit, by using a displacement or force measured or derived from the sensor assembly to determine if there is sufficient pressure between the sensor assembly and the user's skin.

  • Patent number: 11757916
Abstract: In some implementations, a method includes receiving an input domain name and generating a normalized domain name based on the input domain name. The normalized domain name including at least one of an internationalized domain name (IDNA) or a Unicode domain name that is converted from puny code characters in the input domain name. The method also includes determining whether the input domain name is excluded from domain impersonation analysis based on the normalized domain name and risk configuration data associated with an entity. In the event that the input domain name is not excluded from domain impersonation analysis, the method further includes calculating a confidence score representing a risk of domain impersonation to the entity, calculating the confidence score including at least one of: i) analyzing a typo-squat in the input domain name; or ii) analyzing a combo-squat in the input domain name.

  • Publication number: 20230257787
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to methods and cells for the production of substituted phytocannabinoids or substituted phytocannabinoid precursors in host cells that produce the phytocannabinoid or the phytocannabinoid precursor. Methods are described which comprise transforming host cells with a sequence encoding an enzyme for derivatizing the phytocannabinoid or precursor with a substituent, such as O-methyl, glycosyl, or halogen. The transformed cells are cultured to produce substituted phytocannabinoids or substituted phytocannabinoid precursors.

  • Patent number: 11676201
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for providing an alternative payment platform, including method and systems for providing a platform for presenting an alternate offer to a user who is engaged with a primary offer and receiving an indication of the user's engagement with the alternate offer, wherein the user's engagement with the alternate offer serves as an alternative form of payment for an item associated with the primary offer. Such methods and systems may further include methods and systems for selecting one or more alternate offers engagement with which serves as an alternative form of payment for an item associated with a primary offer, presenting the selected alternate payment offers to a user, receiving an indication of engagement with at least one of the alternate offers, receiving payment in exchange for presenting the accepted offer and providing payment to the offeror of the primary offer.

  • Publication number: 20230019634
Abstract: This invention enables users to work with large datasets that are available from data producers, transforming the data into meaningful information whose derivation may later be easily comprehended. Users can build queries by applying transformation functions to the datasets. These queries can be saved and used to build further queries, and queries can be saved and visualized, creating a clear and comprehensible record of data transformations. Inferences are applied to datasets and parameters so that transformations are processed with minimal errors. Limited multiprocessing is implemented on each server on which queries are performed, increasing processing speeds. A graph database of relationships between raw data and queries is used to ensure that queries are performed on updated data. These solutions lead to greater processing efficiency even when datasets tend to be enormous and subject to frequent updates.

  • Publication number: 20220259603
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to methods and cell lines for the production of phytocannabinoids, phytocannabinoid precursors or intermediates, or phytocannabinoid analogue. Methods for transformation of host cells, such as yeast cells, are described. Cells may be transformed, for example, with a polynucleotide encoding a polyketide synthase (PKS) enzyme, a polynucleotide encoding an olivetolic acid cyclase (OAC) enzyme, and/or a polynucleotide encoding a prenyltransferase (PT) enzyme; and optionally a polynucleotide encoding an acyl-CoA synthase (Alk) enzyme; a polynucleotide encoding a fatty acyl CoA activating (CsAAE) enzyme; and/or a polynucleotide encoding a THCa synthase (OXC) enzyme.

  • Patent number: 10977659
Abstract: A systems of servers and algorithms allows merchants to refund value, for example, for refunds on returned goods or for other customer satisfaction reasons. The system receives the request for credit from a merchant refund session as well as a target financial instrument associated with the customer receiving the credit. The system then creates a specialized monitor for the customer's transactions to identify transactions made with that merchant and applies the previously credited funds for purchases made at the merchant. These credits may be made in real time at the register during a purchase or via a statement credit. The credit may also be applied to partner brands associated with the merchant by expanding the scope of the monitor.

  • Patent number: 10956927
Abstract: A system of servers and algorithms allows merchants to award value to a customer when certain criteria have been met, such as buy $100 worth of clothing and get a $20 credit toward a future purchase. Unlike a gift card, the funding for the award is held by the merchant until the award is used, at which time the award funds are transferred to the user's designated account, such as an open loop credit or debit card.

  • Publication number: 20190197521
Abstract: A system of servers and algorithms allows merchants to receive value on behalf of a customer as a gift from a third party or for the merchant to proactively award value to the customer. The system receives an indication of credit sponsored by the merchant for a personal account number (PAN) of the customer. The system then creates a specialized monitor for the customer's transactions to identify transactions meeting certain criteria, including merchant, and applies the credited funds for the purchases. These credits may be made in real time at the register during a purchase or via a statement credit when the customer's bill is processed. The scope of the monitoring process may be expanded to partner brands or co-marketing partners. As the funds are applied, the system generates a settlement message to transfer funds from the merchant to an issuer associated with the PAN or other clearinghouse.

  • Patent number: 10019433
Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to a method and computing device for maintaining dependencies among multiple reference elements (e.g., formulas of a table or spreadsheet). In various embodiments, prior to a reevaluation operation carried out on the reference elements, a computing device receives an input of a reference element via a user interface (e.g., receives a user's input of a formula), assigns the reference element to a group based on the dependency between the reference element and one or more other reference elements, and assigns the reference element to a location within a dependency graph to which the other reference elements are assigned. In response to an event that requires at least one of the reference elements to be reevaluated, the computing device reevaluates each group of reference elements in sequence a group at a time.
