  • Patent number: 11573112
Abstract: A dosing device for dispensing a predetermined amount of liquid, in particular a predetermined amount of water, has a housing with a liquid inlet, a liquid outlet, and a flow channel therebetween. A valve element in the flow path can be opened and closed. A measuring device measures the flow rate through the flow channel in the direction of the liquid outlet. A controller has an operating unit or is coupled to an operating unit for signal transmission. The dosing device is actuatable by the operating unit. The controller is further coupled in terms of control technology to the valve element and to the measuring device, the controller holding the valve element in an open position or moving it to an open position when the dosing device is actuated.

  • Patent number: 9550158
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of operating a metering device (1) for metered dispensing of pumpable media, in particular of color pigment preparations, the metering device (1) comprising a dispensing means (2), which is in fluid connection with a plurality of canisters (3), wherein said metering device (1) comprises a controller (8) by means of which at defined times a defined dispensing volume of the medium is drawn from at least one of said canisters (3) and conveyed to said dispensing means (2) by means of a conveyor (10), wherein, in particular, by means of said controller (8) also an actual fill level is determined and/or calculated depending on a dispensing volume drawn from the respective canister (3).

  • Publication number: 20110315785
Abstract: A device for mixing fluid, and powdered, flowable materials, particularly for mixing automotive refinish coatings for use with spray guns, having a first component (3) mounted rotatably on a frame (2), having a second component bearing or forming a mixing product receptacle (4) mounted rotatably on the first component (3) and having at least one drive device for a rotary drive of the first component (3) and a rotary drive of the mixing product receptacle (4), whereby the drive device is preferably designed in such a way that the direction of rotation of the first component (3) is opposed to the direction of rotation of the mixing product receptacle (4). According to the invention the ratio of rotation between the rotational speed of the first component (3) and the rotational speed of the mixing product receptacle (4) being approximately 1:1.1 to 1:2.0, preferably 1:1.3 to 1:1.8, whereby a preferable rotational speed of the first component (3) is approximately 200 to 400 r/min, preferably 250 to 350 r/min.

  • Publication number: 20050135187
Abstract: This invention relates to a mixing tool receiver (1) on an output shaft (13) of a mixer, with a tubular receiver portion (2) into which a shank (16) of a mixing tool (17) can be positively inserted and locked against twisiting. A locking device for the shank features a manually operable slide bushing (6) with a spring-loaded pressure disk (23) slidable on the receiver portion (2) having at least one locking bolt (26, 27) guided in a guide channel (24, 25) in the receiver portion (2). The guide channel (24, 25) in the tubular wall of the receiver portion (2) extends in transverse direction to the longitudinal axis of the receiver and at an incline in the operating direction of the slide bushing (6). The incline extends radially outwardly and is cut so deeply that a cut-through (28, 29) extends into an inside area (3) of the receiver portion.
