Abstract: A wound dressing (10) for covering a wound, including an absorbent layer (12) with an upper side (14) and a lower side (18), the upper side being coated with a protective layer (16). At least one cut (26) and at least one perforated dividing line (28) is incorporated into the absorbent layer (12) to form at least one segment (30, 32, 34, 36), which can be separated from the absorbent layer (12) without tools. An adhesive section (40) originates from the protective layer (16) for covering the at least one cut (26) and the at least one perforated dividing line (28).
