Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for ticket authorization. In use, data stored by an integrated circuit of an integrated circuit card (ICC) is identified. Additionally, it is verified whether the ICC is associated with a valid ticket, based on the data and information stored remotely from the ICC. Further, the ticket is authorized, based on the verification. Still yet, based on the authorization, additional data indicative of the authorization is stored on the ICC.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for obtaining a value from an associative dictionary are disclosed. Generally, an associative dictionary maps one or more keys to one or more values, enabling retrieval of each of the values using the corresponding one of the keys. The associative dictionary may be implemented using a variety of data structures such as an array or other suitable data structure. A representation structure including a data portion storing a particular data element (e.g., object) is obtained, where the representation structure further includes a reference counter field storing a reference counter indicating a number of wrapper structures referencing the representation structure and an identifier field storing an identifier identifying the data element. The identifier is obtained from the identifier field of the representation structure and provided as a key to the associative dictionary.

Abstract: Systems and methods for utilizing dynamic checks is provided. A user provides user identification information via a POS terminal. The identification information is used to obtain account information such that a representation of the dynamic check may be generated based on the account information. The dynamic check is populated with the user's account information including name, routing, and bank account information. In some embodiments, the payment amount is automatically provided on the dynamic check. After review, the user provides his/her signature on the dynamic check. In exemplary embodiments, this signature is verified by comparing the signature with a stored template of the signature associated with the user's account. Once, the dynamic check is authenticated, the dynamic check may be processed for settlement.
