  • Publication number: 20190336398
Abstract: Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.

  • Patent number: 9453276
Abstract: Processes for protecting steel chains from corrosion and steel chains thus protected are provided. The process includes using finite element analysis to determine stress levels within links of a steel chain having a plurality of connected links. Regions of each link of the chain corresponding to high stress levels are identified. Target areas corresponding to the regions identified are indicated for coating each link of the chain with a sacrificial coating. Thermally sprayed alumina can be used as the sacrificial coating.

Date of Patent: September 27, 2016
    Assignee: Chevron U.S.A. Inc.

  • Publication number: 20130088363
Abstract: A telemetry system using four-level positive pulses is provided to transmit data over a logging cable. More particularly, method and apparatus are provided for using multi-level positive pulses that may have variable width for communication from up hole to down hole, self-clocking modulation and a synchronization circuit to obtain more efficient downlinks and transmission of data to the surface via electric wireline. A peak detector circuit avoids the requirement for very high-speed analog-to-digital converters and a synchronization circuit allows knowing when a pulse is ready to be processed, thus reducing the requirements for processing.

  • Patent number: 6382735
Abstract: This invention relates to a full face vehicle wheel including a wheel rim joined to a wheel disc. The disc includes a body having a wheel mounting surface and an outer annular portion which defines an outboard tire bead seat retaining flange of the wheel. The outer annular portion includes an outer surface and an inner surface. The outer surface defines a radially extending outer surface in the region of the outboard tire bead seat retaining flange, and the inner surface defines a radially extending inner fit up surface. The outer annular portion further includes a non-radially extending inner surface spaced directly inwardly of the inner fit up surface. The rim defines an axis and includes an inboard tire bead seat retaining flange, an inboard tire bead seat, an axially extending well, and an outboard tire bead seat which terminates at an extruded inturned flange.
