  • Publication number: 20240009826
Abstract: A handheld apparatus includes a handle at least partially engaging around a housing. The housing extends along a longitudinal axis from the back to the front end. The apparatus possesses a longitudinal plane which in a storage position runs perpendicular to the horizontal plane and contains the longitudinal axis. An operator-control region has a handle opening penetrating fully through the housing in the direction transverse to the longitudinal plane. The handle opening has in the direction of the longitudinal axis a distance point with the largest distance to the back end. The operator-control region extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis from the back end up to the distance point. The housing possesses an imaginary tangential plane which is only tangent to the housing, runs perpendicular to the longitudinal plane and is tangent to the handle. The imaginary plane is tangent to the housing in the operator-control region.

  • Publication number: 20220255155
Abstract: A battery pack for exchangeable insertion into a receiving compartment delimited by an inner wall has a housing accommodating battery cells. The housing has a basic shape with an upright side and first and second end walls opposite each other. The upright side extends in upright direction of the housing between the first and second end walls. The upright side has an outer surface and longitudinal ribs arranged thereon and extending in upright direction. The longitudinal ribs have a height measured in upright direction and are positioned at a distance from each other. The distance is measured transversely to the upright direction. The longitudinal ribs delimit together with the outer surface of the upright side a cooling groove extending in upright direction. The longitudinal ribs are designed along the height such that the cooling groove can delimit, together with the inner wall, a cooling channel extending in upright direction.

  • Publication number: 20220189657
Abstract: A power tool has a drive unit and an operating handle. At least one electrical line connects the operating handle and the drive unit to each other. The at least one electrical line is fastened at a first electrical connection location to the operating handle and at a second electrical connection location to the drive unit. A safety cable extends along the at least one electrical line between operating handle and drive unit. The safety cable has a first end section and a second end section. The first end section is connected mechanically fixed at a first fixation location to the operating handle. The second end section is connected mechanically fixed at a second fixation location to the drive unit. The at least one electrical line and the safety cable are guided together such that the safety cable forms a tear-off protection for the at least one electrical line.

  • Patent number: 11355810
Abstract: A cell holder structure for holding a plurality of battery cells includes a holder base part and a holder cover part forming an array of cell-receiving spaces and cell intermediate spaces lying inbetween. The holder base part has one or more base side cell supporting pillars extending axially from a base plane of the holder base part into cell intermediate spaces and has a circumferential side securing wall region abutting in an axially and radially position securing manner against a circumferential surface of battery cells to be accommodated in the cell receiving spaces, and/or the holder cover part has one or more cover side cell-supporting pillars which extend axially from a cover plane of the holder cover part into the cell intermediate spaces and have a circumferential side securing wall region abutting in an axially and radially position securing manner against a circumferential surface of the rechargeable battery cells.

  • Patent number: 6699134
Abstract: An anti-shudder constant velocity universal joint of the tripod type is provided having an outer joint member including three circumferentially distributed, axially extending longitudinal tracks formed therein, and an inner joint member having three circumferentially distributed radial journals arranged to engage the longitudinal tracks when the joint is assembled. The end of each journal is mated with and supports rotation of a roller bearing assembly, while rotating and pivoting within the roller bearing assembly upon articulation of the joint. This reduces the frictional forces on the roller bearings created by maintaining the roller bearings in a relatively proper/parallel orientation within the tracks by allowing the journal ends to freely rotate and pivot therein. A spherical-to-spherical contact surface is provided between the journal ends and an inner ring of the respective roller bearing assemblies to lower Hertzian stresses by distributing forces over a larger region of contact.
