  • Patent number: 7618191
Abstract: The invention relates to a wheel bearing arrangement, comprising at least one encoder, at least one sensor, a seal arranged concentrically to the rotational axis and a hub mounted to rotate in the wheel bearing arrangement, whereby a radial flange on the hub, faces radially away from the rotation axis and the seal seals at least one radial annular gap around the hub on the side of the radial flange. The seal comprises at least one cover ring, made from a non-ferromagnetic material and at least one elastic first sealing lip, the first sealing lip is fixed to the cover ring and makes sealing contact with the encoder and at least one signal-active part of the encoder is arranged on the inside of the seal and rotates about the rotational axis with the hub.

  • Patent number: 7524116
Abstract: The invention relates to a cage for tapered ball bearings. Said cage comprises adjacent ball bearing pockets that are arranged over the periphery about a rotational axis of the cage, in addition to elastically deformable retaining lugs that are located on one of the lateral walls. In said cage, the flanks of the retaining lugs run obliquely in relation to one another.

  • Publication number: 20080111317
Abstract: The invention relates to a seal for sealing off the bearing interior of a bearing, in which seal a first sealing lip between an annular pilot chamber and the outer circumference of the seal is angled outward proceeding from a base of the seal as far as at least one first sealing contact, and in which seal a second sealing lip between the bearing interior and the pilot chamber is angled inward proceeding from the base at least as far as a second sealing contact, and in which seal the first sealing lip is provided with at least one ventilation opening which leads into the pilot chamber from the outside.

  • Publication number: 20070189651
Abstract: The invention relates to a cage for inclined ball bearings with adjacent ball pockets arranged on the circumferential side around a rotational axis of the cage, comprising ribs between lateral walls. Each rib extends in the axial direction from one of the lands and connects two of the lateral walls together on the circumferential side.
