  • Patent number: 11773892
Abstract: A threaded fastener composed of separate upper and lower portions with a small axial freedom of movement relative to one another. After being threaded into a blind hole together, the portions are moved relative to one another and locked in place, creating a distribution of stresses which resists backing-out of the fastener without the various drawbacks which limit prior art solutions to this and similar threaded fastener applications.

  • Publication number: 20200292170
Abstract: Device for controlling combustion process in power station furnace system, having burners (1) in combustion chamber. The combustion air is supplied via annular gap (3) surrounding burners which may influence quantity of combustion air flowing through the annular gap (3). Quantity of fuel supplied to burner (1) is recorded, and quantity of combustion air flowing through annular gap (3) is determined, for which two formed sensor rods (11, 12), arranged in the annular gap (3.1), successively and in parallel, preferably transversely to the longitudinal axis (4) of the annular gap and in the flow direction (7) of the combustion air flow, the sensor rods (11, 12) allow part of the combustion air to flow past the first sensor rod (12) in the flow direction (7) of the combustion air flow and also flows past the second sensor rod (11) in the flow direction (7) of the combustion air flow.

  • Patent number: 8601957
Abstract: A device and method for controlling fuel-air ratio during combustion of ground in a coal power plant, including pneumatic delivery of ground coal to the burners and feeding combustion air to burners while controlling the combustion air and the amount of carrier air. A high reliability of control combined with low maintenance of the air mass measurement devices is achieved. This is achieved by a measurement device for measuring the amount of combustion air which, according to correlation measurement, evaluates the triboelectric effects on sensors. Between 0.1 mg and 10 mg of fine-grained particles of a diameter between 20 ?m and 200 ?m are introduced per m3 air into suctioned fresh air, which is carried out during the starting of the firing system. This is done by correlation measurement that evaluates triboelectric effects on sensors, arranged in series in carrier air stream in direction of flow of the carrier air.

  • Patent number: 6771080
Abstract: A microwave measuring device for defining the load of a two-phase flow consisting of solids or liquid particles suspended in a gaseous medium transported in a predetermined direction within a feed duct of electrically conductive materials. Antennae for transmitting and receiving microwaves are penetrating into the feed duct at a predetermined spacing from each other and first and second rods are penetrating into the feed duct ahead of and behind the transmitting and receiving antennae to define, with the feed duct section delimited by them, a resonator. Auxiliary field rods ahead of and behind the first and second field rods short circuit microwaves input into the feed duct section which in consequence of reflection, diffraction or heterodyning have become distorted.
