  • Publication number: 20240165409
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to auditory nerve stimulation to create the perception of sound in the brain of a subject such as an animal or human being. In one form, a system includes an implantable electrode array including a plurality of spaced apart micro-needles. The system also includes a first electrical lead electrically coupled to and extending from the implantable electrode array, and an auditory signal device configured to produce one or more electrical signals representative of communications received from an external processor. An interposer is configured to electrically couple the implantable electrode array and the auditory signal device in an arrangement where one or more electrical signals produced by the auditory signal device may be transmitted through the first electrical lead to the implantable electrode array. Various novel stimulation strategies can be employed, such as place modulated stimulation signals.

  • Publication number: 20240083525
Abstract: Kingpin assembly for a semitrailer of a road train, including a king pin defining an axis of rotation (A), a pivot bearing arranged around the axis of rotation (A), and a holder connected to the pivot bearing and pivotable around the axis of rotation (A) for indirectly or directly holding an electrical and/or electromagnetic and/or pneumatic and/or hydraulic connecting means wherein the king pin includes a king pin flange for mounting the king pin indirectly or directly to the semitrailer, wherein the pivot bearing includes a fixed bearing ring or a fixed bearing ring segment relative to the king pin and a bearing ring or a bearing ring segment rotatable relative thereto, wherein the holder is fixed to the rotatable bearing ring and wherein a support element, which is axially spaced from the rotatable bearing ring and abuts directly against the king pin, is connected to the holder and is adjustable in length in the radial direction (R) with respect to the axis of rotation (A).

  • Publication number: 20230412553
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for joining community subgroups on a messaging platform. The methods and systems perform operations comprising: receiving, from a client device, account information associated with a user; searching, by a server, a list of communities to identify an individual community that corresponds to the account information; selecting a subgroup of a plurality of subgroups associated with the individual community in response to identifying the individual community; storing, by the server, the account information in association with the individual community; and adding the user to the subgroup to enable the client device of the user to access information of the selected subgroup that is exclusively available to members of the subgroup.

  • Patent number: 11593052
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a switch and nodes coupled to the switch. Each node does not include an integrated video controller and transmits data to the switch via a USB and a serial connection. The switch comprises a controller which stores video output generated based on data received via serial connections. The controller: receives a user selection for a first node; transmits the user selection to a first multiplexer; retrieves a first video output generated based on data received via the corresponding serial connection; and transmits the first video output to a second multiplexer. The first multiplexer transmits USB data received from the first node to the second multiplexer. If the first node is in a pre-boot environment, the second multiplexer selects the first video output for transmission. If the first node is in a post-boot environment, the second multiplexer selects the data received from the first node for transmission.

  • Publication number: 20120281424
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide a dual function illumination lamp in compliance with regulations for vehicular forward lighting. In one implementation, the illumination lamp includes a first reflector and a second reflector. The first reflector has a first reflecting region adapted to reflect light emitted from a first light emitting diode through an optics-free lens. The light reflected from the first reflecting region forms a first beam light pattern. The second reflector has a second reflecting region adapted to reflect light emitted from a second light emitting diode through the optics-free lens. The light reflected from the second reflecting region forms a second beam light pattern that is different from the first beam light pattern. In some implementations, the first beam light pattern is a low beam light pattern, and the second beam light pattern is a high beam light pattern.
