    Abstract: A neck orthosis, head support system and method of use for supporting a head of a patient having a medical condition are described. The neck orthosis can comprise a body made of a material which is flexible and stretchy and a releasable fastener. The neck orthosis is shaped to cause the neck orthosis snuggly to conform to the anatomy of the patient adjacent the neck of the patient when the neck support is secured in use about the neck of the patient by the releasable fastener to support the head of the patient. A head support system can include a plurality of different support members which can be releasably attached to the neck orthosis to provide different types of support to the head of the patient.
