  • Patent number: 9701057
Abstract: A singulation apparatus for preforms, including a device for eliminating mispositioned preforms. The singulation apparatus is designed as a roll-type sorting apparatus that has two conveyor rolls which rotate about parallel axes of rotation, define a common conveying plane, and convey the preforms between the conveying rolls in a direction of travel. The device for eliminating mispositioned preforms is a kick wheel that rotates about an axis of rotation, has a lateral direction of ejection, and meshes with an elimination region above correctly positioned preforms.

  • Patent number: 9592967
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for conveying preforms, to a blow molding machine. The apparatus includes a conveying device which conveys preforms away from a supply of preforms, a feeding device that receives preforms from the conveying device, and a sorting device that sorts the preforms and conveys them in a direction of travel. The conveying device ends above the sorting device. The inlet end of the feeding device has a holding zone which the preforms reach as they arrive from the conveying device, and the discharge end of the feeding device has a transfer zone via which the preforms reach the sorting device. The feeding device has an orienting zone with an orienting device designed so that the flow of preforms is oriented in the direction of the flow of the preforms in the sorting device (direction of travel), and the oriented preforms run through the transfer zone.

  • Patent number: 9352507
Abstract: A separator device for preforms with an alignment device for handling incorrectly aligned preforms, wherein the separator device is a roller sorter with two transport rollers rotating in opposite directions to one another, between which rollers preforms are transported in a conveying direction, in a suspended manner and with an intended alignment. The alignment device has a rotating body mounted rotatably about an axis, which body is arranged above the roller sorter so that the rotating body projects into the movement path of incorrectly aligned preforms. The rotating body is designed to exert an alignment force on incorrectly aligned preforms. The rotating body also projects into the movement path of the preforms with the intended alignment and is therefore designed and arranged to exert an alignment force only on incorrectly aligned preforms.

  • Patent number: 9199405
Abstract: An apparatus for conveying preforms to a blow molding machine, including a sorter that sorts and uniformly orients the preforms. A gravity conveyor feeds the preforms from the sorter to the blow molding machine. A transfer device between the sorter and the conveyor transfers the preforms from the sorter to the conveyor. The sorter, the conveyor, and the transfer device all have stepless adjoined guiding surfaces with specific contours that guide the preforms through the apparatus. The transfer device is an element with a curved guiding surface adjusted to the contour of the guiding surface of the sorter at the end facing the sorter, while being adjusted to the contour of the guiding surface of the gravity conveyor at the end facing the gravity conveyor. The two contours of the guiding surfaces facing the ends of the two devices are different, the guiding surface is stepless between the two ends.

  • Patent number: 7029053
Abstract: A roof for a convertible vehicle includes first and second roof parts which can be moved by a bearing mechanism between a closed position which covers an interior of the vehicle and a lowered position in a rear roof deposition space which exposes the vchicle interior. A locking device is provided for interlocking of the first and second roof parts in the closed position of the roof. The locking device has a first closing unit for mutual interlocking of the first and second roof parts and which is coupled to a drive mechanism. The first closing unit has a coupling mechanism to couple to a second closing unit which acts on one of the first and second roof parts and which interlocks the acted upon roof part to a third roof part or to a body part.

  • Patent number: 6808213
Abstract: A closing device for doors, hatches, and similar closures of motor vehicles is provided which includes an electric motor as the drive device and a transmission device for transmitting a driving force to a sliding block of the closing device. The transmission device is a compression/tension cable which controls the opening and closing process of the closing device via the linear motion of the sliding block of a lock. The position of the sliding block controls the opening and closing state of the lock relative to a closing lever and a locking lever which are pivotally supported spaced apart from one another.
