The suggestions are combined, ranked and displayed as a list to the user, from which the user is able to select.

Abstract: A computing device is described that receives notification data, and selects, based on the notification data, a template graphical user interface (GUI) view from a plurality of template GUI views. The computing device automatically generates, from a portion of the notification data, an application GUI view that includes the portion of the notification data included within one or more fields of the template GUI view. The computing device outputs, for display, the application GUI view.

The polymer coatings generally comprise an electrically insulating layer and/or a hydrophobic layer. The hydrophobic layer can comprise fused polymer particles have an average primary particle diameter on the nanometer to micrometer scale. The polymer coatings are deposited on substrates using specifically adapted plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition approaches. The substrates can include computing devices and fabrics.

Abstract: Maximum and minimum dimensional characteristics of a conduit are determined by imaging a portion of the conduit into which an expandable medical device is to be implanted at appropriate points in the cardiac cycle (or other suitable cycle, such as the respiratory cycle, or at other suitable times). The dimensional characteristics of the conduits within the portion of interest may be evaluated and compared to the maximum and minimum dimensional characteristics of the medical device to be implanted in the conduit to determine whether the medical device is of an appropriate size for properly fitting in the conduit.

A daemon application initiated on a workstation or mobile device is configured to intercept a help request received in connection with an active application when a pre-defined triggering event is invoked. The daemon application captures context corresponding to the current page or function in use with the active application and generates a corresponding information dataset pertaining to the captured context. The information dataset is transmitted to a remote site, configured to query a content database, to determine if help-related content has been previously associated with the captured context, wherein a positive determination of the existence of such an association results in the help-related content being retrieved and displayed on the workstation or mobile device.

Abstract: A flexible sheath used for absorbing and retaining liquid discharge from a male penis, and in particular, for male urinary incontinence and for use after intercourse. The device comprises an opening, a single interior cavity, an upper elastic band, and an inner fluid absorbent material. The opening allows for insertion of the penis or shaft, and the single interior cavity houses the penis and shaft. The elastic band is positioned to keep any excess liquid discharge from escaping the inner fluid absorbent material. A water resistant coating on the outside of the flexible elastic woven sheath also keeps unabsorbed liquid discharge from escaping. This invention may also be useful to catch and absorb condensate or liquid squirts on water pressure testing locations on the inlets and outlets of HVAC water coils.

Abstract: A system for remotely monitoring and controlling an HVAC device includes a server which receives queries from an entry device and data from the HVAC device. Databases with information regarding the location and status of the HVAC devices reside on the server, as does a user name/password file, instead of in the entry device or the HVAC controller. Connection is provided over various communications links including the Internet, POTS, and GSM networks. A user with an entry device such as a handheld computer or cell phone using wireless access protocol (WAP) can change settings, obtain diagnostic information, and receive alarm messages about a plurality of HVAC devices.

Abstract: A wireless node location mechanism that dynamically adapts to changes to a surrounding physical environment that affect the propagation of radio signals. The wireless node location mechanism assesses radio signals from transmitters associated with a wireless node location infrastructure to adjust one or more parameters used to estimate location of a wireless node. In one implementation, path loss exponents are re-computed based on the signals transmitted between infrastructure radio transceivers. These path loss exponents are used, in one implementation, to compute the distance between a wireless node and a given infrastructure radio transceiver and, ultimately, to determine the location of the wireless node based on triangulation. In one implementation, path loss exponents are computed on demand based on the signals observed between infrastructure radios that detect the wireless node whose location is to be estimated.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and systems directed to refreshing signal information in an infrastructure wireless node location mechanism. The wireless node location mechanism selectively terminates connections with wireless clients to refresh signal strength information used to compute an estimated location for the wireless clients. The wireless node location mechanism terminates the connection between a WLAN and a given wireless node, causing in typical WLAN protocol implementations, the mobile station to transmit frames or packets on all available operating channels in a given band. This allows access points and other WLAN elements, operating on different frequency channels, to detect frames transmitted by the mobile station and provide refreshed signal strength information to a wireless node location mechanism.

Means of securing the polymeric material layer to the core is provided to prevent the polymeric material from moving axially along the core. Hence, the polymeric material layer and pressure sensitive layer are arranged on the core to form a generally uniform rotatable web transport surface for conveying web exposed to molten polyethylene resin without the web transfer surface bearing the web being attacked and wetted with the coating material.
