  • Patent number: 10792033
Abstract: A device that facilitates the placement of one or more needles and their attached sutures in the body of a surgical patient is disclosed. The device contains one or more needle guide channels in which one or more needles may be backloaded. The device also contains one or more lumens extending though the body of the device. One or more sutures may be coupled to the one or more needles, and threaded through the lumen. The one or more needles may then be advanced out of their respective needle guide channels by pulling on one end of one or more sutures.
