  • Publication number: 20240071577
Abstract: Methods, computer systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for predicting an exchange-correlation energy of an atomic system. The system obtains respective electron-orbital features of the atomic system at each of a plurality of grid points; generates, for each of the plurality of grid points, a respective input feature vector for the electron-orbital features at the grid point; and processes the respective input feature vectors for the plurality of grid points using a neural network to generate a predicted exchange-correlation energy of the atomic system.

  • Patent number: 11541540
Abstract: A computer readable medium causing a computer to planning of a trajectory for an object that is capable of controlled movement in one or more degrees of freedom. At least one ordered sequence of movement profiles is obtained. The at least one ordered sequence includes: (i) movement profiles that end with a phase of increasing acceleration and (ii) movement profiles that end with a phase of decreasing acceleration. The ordered sequence is evaluated to select a movement profile capable of achieving a desired state of movement. The trajectory of the object is planned based on the selected movement profile.

  • Publication number: 20220032295
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for preparation of samples for use with in vitro diagnostic tests or analytical assays for detecting one or more analytes. For example, certain embodiments may relate to diagnostic tests performed on human subjects for a variety of applications related to health, medical, and wellness testing. Other embodiments may relate to testing in various applications. Further embodiments may relate to processing environmental samples for detection of various analytes of biological or non-biological origin. Additional embodiments may relate to various applications that require mixing an arbitrary sample with a precise amount of one or more reagents.

  • Publication number: 20200384645
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and controller are disclosed, for planning a trajectory for an object that is capable of controlled movement in one or more degrees of freedom. The method comprises obtaining (240) at least one ordered sequence of movement profiles. The at least one ordered sequence of movement profiles includes: (i) movement profiles that end with a phase of increasing acceleration and (ii) movement profiles that end with a phase of decreasing acceleration. The method comprises evaluating (250) the at least one ordered sequence of movement profiles to determine whether they can to achieve the target state of motion; selecting (260) a movement profile according to the result of the evaluating; and planning (270) the trajectory for the object based on the selected movement profile. Also disclosed is a method of planning a trajectory by obtaining a set of candidate profiles and solving a set of equations of motion for each candidate profile.

  • Publication number: 20170164050
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for presenting alternate content during a channel change on a video content playing device includes: receiving a viewer's request to tune to a particular channel, retrieving tuning context data from a memory of the video content playing device, where the tuning context data is indicative of a context in which the viewer tunes to the particular channel, processing the tuning context data using a channel function associated with the particular channel to identify alternate content likely to be of interest to a viewer of the particular channel, identifying a network address for the alternate content associated with the particular channel in accordance with a result of the processing, retrieving the alternate content according to the network address, and presenting the alternate content on the video content playing device before presenting the program currently being broadcast on the particular channel.
