  • Publication number: 20220285664
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for providing an electrode foil for producing a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, in which a metal foil is provided with a coating of electrode material and in which the coating of electrode material is plasma treated. The coating of electrode material is plasma-treated by the coating being subjected to an atmospheric plasma jet. The invention also relates to a method for producing a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, in which a first electrode foil for the negative electrode and a second electrode foil for the positive electrode are provided, in which the first and second electrode foils are arranged one above the other with a separator layer in between to form a foil stack and in which the foil stack is impregnated with a liquid electrolyte. The first and/or the second electrode foil is/are provided by the aforementioned method.

  • Publication number: 20200020953
Abstract: A method for depositing a plasma polymer layer in an atmospheric-pressure plasma on a metallic substrate, wherein the plasma is obtained by a discharge between two electrodes. At least one organic coating precursor compound is fed into the region of the relaxing plasma and is deposited on the metallic substrate as a plasma polymer layer. Nitrogen or a forming gas is used as a treatment gas and the at least one organic coating precursor compound is selected from various compounds. Also disclosed is an article, an electrode and a capacitor which utilize the method and include a metallic substrate having a surface and a plasma polymer layer on the surface. Also disclosed is a method for producing the electrode or for producing the capacitor, a battery cell or a lithium-ion accumulator which comprises the electrode.

  • Publication number: 20190047191
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an injection-molded component with an insert part. An insert part is provided with an inorganic surface, and the insert part is at least partly overmolded during the injection-molding process. The region, which is overmolded during the injection-molding process, of the inorganic surface of the insert part is coated at least in some regions prior to being overmolded, wherein the inorganic surface is supplied with an atmospheric plasma beam and a precursor. The invention further relates to an injection-molded component with an insert part, said insert part having an at least partly overmolded inorganic surface. A layer which is applied by means of a plasma coating process, in particular a plasma polymerization process, is arranged at least in some regions between the inorganic surface and the overmolded plastic.

  • Publication number: 20120261391
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing surface-modified particles in atmospheric pressure plasma, and a method for producing a coating with particles dispersed therein using an atmospheric pressure plasma. The plasma is produced by a discharge between electrodes in a process gas. In both methods one of the electrodes is a sputter electrode, which sputters the particles due to the discharge. Also disclosed are methods for producing composite material, with which surface-modified particles are built in a matrix, and to said composite materials. Also disclosed are plasma nozzles and devices containing said nozzles for producing surface-modified particles and coatings with the particles dispersed therein.
