  • Patent number: 9805531
Abstract: An access arrangement for a vehicle includes a vehicle-side transceiver for transmitting query signals in a chronologically successive manner in first specified time intervals. The access arrangement also includes at least one mobile identification transmitter including an identification transmitter-side transceiver with an adjustable reception sensitivity for receiving the query signals of the vehicle-side transceiver. Furthermore, the access arrangement includes a monitoring device for outputting a control command in order to reduce the sensitivity of the identification transmitter-side transceiver by a first specified amount if the identification transmitter-side transceiver has received a specified number of query signals transmitted by the vehicle-side transceiver. By reducing the reception sensitivity, a stationary identification transmitter in the vicinity of the vehicle for example remains operational but no longer reacts to query signals of the vehicle-side transceiver, whereby power can be saved.

  • Patent number: 9689986
Abstract: A method is given for finding a reference correction value of an index mark of an angular encoder. The angular encoder includes a first read head, a second read head, and a patterned element having incremental marks and an index mark. In a first instance and in a second instance, the patterned element is rotated relative to the read heads to obtain incremental readings from the first read head and the second read head and an index mark from the first read head. Based on these readings, a processor determines, in the first instance, a first reference position and, in the second instance, a second reference position. The processor determines the reference correction value based at least in part on the first reference position and the second reference position.

  • Patent number: 9436003
Abstract: A 3D measurement device sends a beam of light to a point on an object, receives the reflected light, and determines a distance and two angles to the point, one of the angles measured by an angular encoder, which includes a disk having incremental marks and an index mark. Light from the 3D device is rotated to reflect light from a reference reflector to produce a first synchronization signal. A first difference angle is determined based on counts of the incremental marks and on the first synchronization signal. Light from the 3D device is rotated to reflect light from the reference reflector to produce a second synchronization signal. A second difference angle is determined based on counts of the incremental marks and on the second synchronization signal. The reference correction value of the index mark is determined based on the first and second difference angles.

  • Publication number: 20160120487
Abstract: A couch panel for a patient couch for a medical imaging method is disclosed. The couch panel is of single-shell design, beads are formed in the longitudinal direction of the couch panel, wherein the number and the shape of the beads are chosen such that the couch panel has a predefinable geometric moment of inertia. The two longitudinally extending edges of the couch panel are bent upward. This is advantageous because of the cost-effective production of a couch panel and, in the case of X-ray imaging, in the low radiation absorption. A patient couch having a couch panel of this kind is likewise disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20110234370
Abstract: A user identification device for an access system and/or starting system of a vehicle has an energy source such as a battery or an accumulator for making available a supply voltage. In addition, there are provided a measuring device for sensing the supply voltage currently made available by the energy source and an open-loop control and evaluation device for comparing the sensed current supply voltage with a first predetermined threshold value voltage and for detecting at least one function of a plurality of functions which can be carried out by the open-loop control and evaluation device when the current sensed supply voltage drops below the first predetermined threshold value voltage. By deactivating specific functions when the energy source becomes weak while other specific functions remain activated, the critical state of the energy source of the user identification device can be signaled to a user without additional display devices being necessary.

  • Publication number: 20100017211
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for constructing a cross-linked system whose topology of components creates a network, especially a method for creating predetermined functional units, such as cell types and tissues as well as biological and/or physical components that are based thereupon, by developing the cross-linking of the system in a self-organizing manner. The inventive method is characterized by the following steps: a) the network is represented by graph; b) edges of the said graph are provided with markings which are formed such that the graph can be unambiguously assigned to a minimal automaton; c) the automaton is described by a formal grammar representing a system of equations whose solution are defined in text form. The approach to obtain the solutions of the system of equations describes a way to construct the system, while transducers insert the components into the network in order to entirely construct the system.
