Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for automatically creating an ad campaign for mobile applications are disclosed. A campaign server may automatically generate an ad creative and determine desired ad distribution parameters, including ad viewer characteristics, required ad viewer hardware and software, languages, geographical location of ad viewers, etc. The data for automatically generating an ad creative and creating the ad campaign may be retrieved from online application sellers. The ad creative may be generated using retrieved data such as ratings, price, icon, etc. An estimated reach of the number of ad viewers and impressions may be computed. Statistics regarding the impressions and click-throughs may also be collected for the advertiser. An interface to the campaign server may also be directly accessible for a user logged into an advertising network.

Abstract: Providing content items on electronic documents comprises a content item server. The server receives a content item to be displayed on user computing devices, wherein the content item comprises characteristics associated with a particular item associated with the content item. The server receives a request to serve the content item in connection with relevant electronic documents and an indication that an electronic document is to be displayed on a user computing device. The server determines features of the electronic document and that the characteristics of the content item correspond to the features of the electronic document. The server provides the content item to the user computing device to display the content item in conjunction with the electronic document.

The server creates a content item comprising at least one of the features associated with the particular item. The server receives a request to display the content item in conjunction with an electronic document on a user computing device and assesses at least one updated features associated with the content item. The server updates the content item with the at least one updated feature associated with the item and provides the updated content item to the user computing device to display in conjunction with the electronic document.
