  • Publication number: 20230002564
Abstract: A process for producing a composition comprising a crosslinked hydrogel is proposed. The process comprises providing a container body (2), wherein the container body (2) has a body inner wall (21) and a body outer wall (22), wherein the body inner (21) wall is configured to be tempered, filling of a fluid (7) comprising at least a mixture of a polymer and water into the container body (2), and agitating the fluid. For crosslinking of the fluid (7), a container insert (3) is provided, the container insert (3) having an insert outer wall (32) which is configured to be tempered and a container assembly (1) is formed by inserting the container insert (3) into the container body (2) so that the insert outer wall (32) of the container insert (3) and the body inner wall (21) of the container body (2) are separated by a gap (9) of constant width and define a volume (6) for receiving the fluid (7).

  • Patent number: 10640578
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a modified hyaluronic acid (HA) and to a method for making same, more specifically to a (poly)glycerol-modified HA derivative prepared by grafting glycidol to HA. The present invention also relates to the use of the HA derivative for preparing a dermal filler composition, a hydrogel comprising cross-linked HA and the (poly)glycerol-modified HA derivative, and a method for preparing said hydrogel. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of the hydrogel as a cosmetic and/or aesthetic product, in particular as a dermal filler for tissue filling, replacing and/or augmenting.

  • Publication number: 20180177707
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of preparing a composition, the composition comprising a crosslinked first polymer, optionally a second polymer, which may be crosslinked or non-crosslinked, and water, wherein the first and the second polymer are selected from a pollysaccharide, comprising at least steps (i) to (iv): (i) crosslinking a mixture comprising the first polymer and water; (ii) subsequent to the crosslinking in step (i), terminating the crosslinking; (iii) optionally blending the product obtained in step (ii) with the second polymer; (iv) subjecting the product obtained in step (iii) to dialysis.
