  • Patent number: 11925736
Abstract: Dialyzer systems can consolidate multiple technologies and functionalities of blood treatment systems in a significantly integrated fashion. For example, this disclosure describes dialyzer systems that include a magnetically driven and magnetically levitating pump rotor integrated into the dialyzer. Such a dialyzer can be used with treatment modules that include a magnetic field-generating pump drive unit. In some embodiments, the dialyzers include pressure sensor chambers with flexible membranes with which corresponding pressure transducers of the treatment modules can interface to detect arterial and/or venous pressures.

  • Patent number: 10800371
Abstract: A fastener for detachably joining a panel to a structure is provided. The fastener exhibits a first connector for joining the fastener with the structure, a second connector for joining the fastener with the panel, wherein the second connector is detachably fastened to the first connector in the normal operating state of the fastener, and a restraining band, whose first end is joined with the first connector, and whose second end is joined with the second connector, wherein at least a portion of the restraining band exhibits a bent shape in the normal operating state of the fastener, wherein a spacer is situated between the first connector and second connector, and a projection of the spacer protrudes into the space inside the bent portion of the restraining band in the normal operating state of the fastener.

  • Publication number: 20110129588
Abstract: A ready to eat gelatin containing alcohol that may be stored on a shelf indefinitely without refrigeration is made possible by the preparation of an at least partially hydrated gelatin blend and mixing spirits with the gelatin blend. Additional ingredients in either liquid or dry form may be added at the time the spirits are added. The solution is immediately dispensed into containers and sealed to prevent the alcohol from evaporating. The mixture is flash cooled in the container to form a gelatin having an indefinite shelf life without refrigeration.

  • Publication number: 20080276670
Abstract: A lock for releasably locking a movable hatch to a counterpart is equipped with a fitting (1) having a locking assembly (21) and an additional fitting (2) having an additional locking assembly (28) that can be brought into engagement with the locking assembly (21) of the other fitting (1). The fittings (1, 2) are made of plastic and an elastically deformable compensating cushion (7) is present, which is fastened to one fitting (1, 2) and which when the fittings (1, 2) are in the locked position is disposed deformed between the fittings (1, 2) such that it exerts a bias on them (1, 2). The inventive lock is therefore light but strong and compensates tolerances.
