  • Patent number: 11486978
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that initiates one or more optical pulses in accordance with a first emission pattern, obtains a second emission pattern in response to one or more of a time-variable trigger or a deviation of one or more received optical reflections from an expected reflection pattern, and initiates one or more optical pulses in accordance with the second emission pattern. Moreover, infrastructure node technology may detect, based on an interference notification from a first sensor platform, a deviation of received optical reflection(s) from an expected reflection pattern, select emission parameter(s) in response to the deviation, and alter a first emission pattern with respect to the selected emission parameter(s) to obtain a second emission pattern.

  • Patent number: 10838106
Abstract: Known georeferencing techniques require input in the form of manually-chosen anchor points or dense surveyed data. The present invention is an improved method and system for georeferencing underground geometric data. The method comprises (a) visiting at least two control points; (b) obtaining information about each of the at least two control points using scanning means; (c) recording the information about the at least two control points into a computer processor; and (d) performing a best-fit transformation to the recorded information. Preferably, the scanning means comprises laser scanners and at least two radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags. However, other technologies, such as retro-reflective LIDAR targets, Wi-Fi access points or bar codes and a bar code reader may also be used. In addition, sonar, radar, flash LIDAR, MEMS LIDAR, or any other similar technology could be used.

  • Patent number: 10642858
Abstract: There is provided a system including a processor and a memory, storing an asset-data synthesis unit having a data translation module and a data integration module. The processor executes the asset-data synthesis unit to receive a first and a second domain specific asset description data being expressed using different descriptive vocabularies, translate the first and second domain specific asset description data to a common descriptive vocabulary to produce respective first and second common format asset description data, inferentially identify based on probabilistic inference that the first and second common format asset description data describe a same asset, integrate the first and second common format asset description data to produce an integrated asset description data describing the same asset, and generate a synthesized data describing the same asset and linking the integrated asset description data and the first and second domain specific asset description data.

  • Patent number: 9606215
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed aggregate a plurality of crowdsourced measurement sets for antennas received from a plurality of Mobile Stations (MS) with a Base Station Almanac (BSA), based on a measurement location estimate and a measurement location uncertainty estimate associated with each measurement set. A map comprising a plurality of map layers may be obtained, where each map layer associates locations in the BSA with spatially variable Forward Link Calibration (FLC) values for the antenna derived from the updated BSA data, wherein each spatially variable FLC value is associated with a corresponding location in the updated BSA data. Map layers, which may also include multipath map and/or received signal strength layers, may be provided to MS? as location assistance data.
