  • Patent number: 11939085
Abstract: Aspects relate to method and systems for wrapping simulated intra-aircraft communication to a physical controller area network. An exemplary method includes receiving simulator data from an aircraft simulator, disaggregating a simulated digital message from the simulator data, abstracting a simulated signal as a function of the simulated digital message, transmitting the simulated signal on at least a controller area network (CAN), receiving, using at least an aircraft component communicative with the at least a CAN, the simulated signal by way of the at least a CAN, transmitting a phenomenal signal by way of the at least a CAN, receiving the phenomenal signal by way of the at least a CAN, converting a phenomenal digital message as a function of the phenomenal signal, and inputting the phenomenal digital message to the aircraft simulator.

  • Patent number: 9503878
Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods of verifying wireless devices for paring without user interaction or with reduced user interaction. A processor may send, from a first wireless device to a second wireless device, a discovery query, and may receive a discovery response from the second wireless device. The processor may authenticate, in the first wireless device, the second wireless device based on the discovery response. The processor may send, from the first wireless device to a second wireless device, a first capability query. The processor may receive, in the first wireless device from the second wireless device, a first capability response including first capability response information. The processor may authenticate, in the first wireless device, the second wireless device based on the first capability response information. The processor may initiate a pairing process between the first and second wireless devices when the first wireless device authenticates the second wireless device.

  • Patent number: 4647899
Abstract: An electrical film resistor. The film resistor includes a substrate, resistive film, and first and second terminals. The first terminal includes a first electrode. The second terminal includes second and third electrodes. The second electrode is close to the first electrode, and the third electrode is spaced apart from the first electrode. Moreover, the second and third electrodes are electrically interconnected. A kerf may be cut in the resistive material to increase the resistance between the two terminals and eventually substantially electrically isolate the second electrode from the first terminal. Thereafter, kerfs may be cut in the resistive material between first and third electrodes to further increase the resistance between the two terminals.
