  • Patent number: 10576832
Abstract: An electrical connecting device for a charging cable is for charging an electric vehicle. The electrical connecting device includes a network-side first connecting element for electrically connecting the connecting device to an electrical supply network and a charging-cable-side second connecting element for connecting the connecting device to a network-side connector of the charging cable. The first connecting element includes at least two contact elements, each connected in an electrically conductive manner to one of at least two contact elements of the second connecting element; and a first temperature sensor, used for temperature monitoring and which is electrically connected to the second connecting element via a communication cable. The second connecting element has a further contact, connectable to a corresponding further contact of the network-side connector of the charging cable to transmit a signal of the temperature sensor to the charging cable.

  • Patent number: 10377248
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention relates to a charging device for charging an at least partially electrically operated vehicle. The charging device is formed with at least one electrical component and a switching device. The at least one electrical component and the switching device are arranged in the charging device in such a way that when the charging device is connected to a vehicle a circuit is produced for assisting the discharging of at least one capacitor provided on the vehicle side, the capacitor being openable or closable via the switching device.

  • Patent number: 9739829
Abstract: A residual-current-operated protective arrangement includes a residual-current-operated protective device that has a core and an evaluation coil. A control device is provided that has a detection unit for detecting an electric current flowing through the evaluation coil. The residual-current-operated protective arrangement has a test winding that is inductively coupled to the evaluation coil via the core and the control device has a testing unit for impressing a predetermined test current into the test winding.
