  • Publication number: 20220268795
Abstract: A calibration device is disclosed. The device comprises an array of teaching pendants. The device comprises a translation actuator configured to translate the array of teaching pendants to a set of x and y positions, wherein the x and y positions are measured in a plane substantially parallel to a floor of an instrument deck. The device comprises a plurality of height actuators configured to move each of the teaching pendants in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane. One or more of the teaching pendants contact one or more teaching objects of an array of teaching objects above the instrument deck as a result of a position of the array of teaching pendants.

  • Patent number: 7782993
Abstract: An apparatus for supplying an encoded data signal comprises a detector for detecting information on an internal receiver for receiving the encoded data signal, a selector for selecting a coding scheme to be used for encoding the data signal the selector being operative to access a data base having entries for different internal receivers, an entry having one or more properties of a coding scheme customized for the receiver associated with the entry and an encoder for encoding the data signal using a coding scheme having the selective property or a destination information provider for providing destination information so that the encoded data signal is stored at the right storage location in an intended receiver.

  • Publication number: 20090106879
Abstract: A sock which reduces and substantially eliminates creasing of the instep of footwear, such as shoes, sneakers, boots or the like when worn with such footwear. The sock includes conventional sock portions, such as an ankle portion, a heel portion, a toe portion and an instep portion, and at the instep portion one or more pads are provided such that when the sock is worn the pads override the instep of the foot of the wearer and underlie the instep of the footwear of the wearer. Pressure created during walking or running is transferred from the foot through the crease reducing pad or pads to the instep of the footwear thereby reducing or eliminating creasing thereof.

  • Patent number: 4639163
Abstract: A drive shaft having an annular groove is placed in driving connection with a coupling sleeve by engagement members which constitute spherical balls radially movable within apertures in the coupling sleeve for engagement within the annular groove of the drive shaft. A locking ring engaging around the engagement members holds them in the locked position within the annular groove and when the mechanism is in the unlocked position, the locking ring is held axially away from the locked position by a latching member which engages within the apertures of the coupling sleeve to hold the locking ring in the unlocked position against the biasing force of a spring. A guide ring affixed to the coupling sleeve guides the locking ring by means of a gripping sleeve affixed thereto for movement relative to the coupling sleeve axially and nonrotatively with the guide ring including apertures through which the latching member engages when it is moved between the latched and the unlatched positions.

  • Patent number: 4629044
Abstract: A clutch mechanism designed to include a free-wheeling unit which is disengageable in the driving direction consisting of a clutch hub and a clutch sleeve which cooperate with locking catches, with the clutch sleeve being embraced by a control ring. Control pins are radially guided in the clutch sleeve and, by turning the control ring relative to the clutch sleeve, inclined faces formed on the control ring act on the control pins to actuate the locking catches to permit disengagement of the driving connection.

  • Patent number: 4579205
Abstract: A protective clutch wherein a switching ring having an inner bore in the shape of a frustum is axially actuated to control a radially extending actuating pin which operates to place a control ring into and out of rotative engagement with one of a driven and driving member of the clutch. The control ring contains recesses within which torque transmitting balls of the clutch may move when the control ring is in angular alignment therewith to disengage the clutch with angular unalignment of the control ring operating to bring the torque transmitting balls back into torque transmitting position.

  • Patent number: 4579476
Abstract: A mechanism for coupling a drive shaft with a coupling sleeve in torque transmitting engagement wherein locking elements are radially movable within radial apertures of the coupling sleeve and engage within an annular groove of the drive shaft and wherein a locking sleeve is movable between two axial positions on the coupling sleeve to hold the locking members in engagement within the annular groove and to release the holding members from locking engagement, the coupling sleeve being latched in the released position by a latching mechanism which is unlatched when the drive shaft is inserted to within the coupling sleeve to drive the locking elements radially outwardly against the latching mechanism which is held in the unlatched position during coupling of the drive elements.
