  • Publication number: 20060169843
Abstract: This device is a pull release tab in a connection between two lines to be placed under tension. The first line forms an loop by passing one end of the first line through a looplet at the other end. The looplet has a tab affixed to it. The second line has a knot at one end that passes through the loop formed by the first line. When tension is applied to the first and second lines, the loop closes and releasably engages the knot, thus forming a connection between the two lines. To disengage the first line from the second line, the tab is pulled to enlarge the loop to allow the knot to disengage from the loop.

  • Publication number: 20050205137
Abstract: A multilayered pressure vessel (10) fabricated from at least one single ply sheet of flexible material (100) having an approximate longitudinal midline which divides the material into an inner portion (130) having an inner surface, an outer surface, an edge, a seam allowance, and a width, and an outer portion having an inner surface, an outer surface, an edge, a seam allowance, and a width. The width of the outer portion (120) is greater than the width of the inner portion (140). A primary seam (250) binds the outer portion and the inner portion to the material sheet at the midline proximate the outer portion edge and inner portion edge. The sheet (100) is wrapped into a continuous substantially 720 degree wrap to form a generally cylindrical vessel body having possible multiple fluid passageways, at the election of the user. The primary seam (250) is concealed.

  • Patent number: 6439940
Abstract: A fin and watercraft system includes at least one pair of fins mounted to the underside of a watercraft adjacent the side edges. The fins rotate freely from a position substantially parallel to the centerline of the watercraft through an arc of up to 90 degrees to alternate positions angled from the nearest side edge toward the centerline of the watercraft. The fins include a front portion extending from a leading edge to a vertical axis and a rear portion extending from the vertical axis to a trailing edge. The rear portion is larger than the front portion causing the fin to rotate in the direction of an oncoming water flow. The fins have symmetrical lateral surfaces and include a bearing plate mounted in a recess in the lower surface of the watercraft. A pin extends from a top surface of the fin engages an arcurate slot in the bearing plate to limit rotation of the fin.
