Abstract: Provided is a bumper apparatus of a robot, including: a bumper elastically coupled with a chassis of the robot; and at least one elastic element coupled to or interfacing with both the chassis and the bumper; wherein: the at least one elastic element facilitates movement of the bumper relative to the chassis upon impact with an object and disengagement from the object after impact; the at least one elastic element facilitates a return of the bumper to a neutral position upon disengaging from the object after impact; and the bumper covers at least a portion of the chassis.

Abstract: Provided is an integrated bumper system including an integrated bumper system of a robot, including a bumper elastically coupled with a chassis of the robot and comprising an opening in a top surface of the bumper; at least one elastic element coupled to the chassis and interfacing with the bumper; and a bridging element coupled with the chassis or another component of the robot, wherein the bumper slides relative to the bridging element upon an impact and a release of the impact; a perimeter of the opening of the bumper is hidden beneath the bridging element when the bumper is in a neutral position and an impacted position; and the perimeter of the opening of the bumper remains hidden beneath the bridging element during movement of the bumper caused by the impact and the release of the impact.

Abstract: Techniques for performing a fuzzy match of data from multiple sources are provided. In one technique, an email address of a sender of an email message is extracted from the email message. The email address is used to retrieve, from a first data source, first entity data about one or more entities, such as users. The first entity data is used to retrieve, from a second data source, second entity data about one or more entities. First data that pertains to the sender and that originates from the first data source is combined with second data that pertains to the sender and that originates from the second data source to generate sender data. The sender data is then presented via an email client that displays the email message.
