  • Publication number: 20230406675
Abstract: An electrical control device for controlling the drive of a passenger transport system which can be switched between load operation and idle operation is described. The electrical control device includes at least a three-phase mains voltage connection, a frequency converter, and a controllable switching device. The switching device can couple the three phases of the drive motor to the three phases of the mains voltage connection in a load operation switching state and to the three phases of the frequency converter in an idle operation switching state. In this manner, the drive motor is supplied with the three-phase mains voltage in the load operation switching state and with the three-phase output voltage of the frequency converter in the idle operation switching state.

  • Patent number: 10737910
Abstract: The application relates to a passenger transport apparatus comprising at least one drive sprocket for driving and deflecting a conveyor belt, and at least one detecting apparatus for detecting the rotational speed of the drive sprocket. Slot-shaped recesses are arranged on at least one annular side surface of the drive sprocket, wherein the longitudinal extension of the slot-shaped recesses extends in the radial direction with respect to the rotational center of the drive sprocket over the annular side surface. The detecting apparatus makes it possible to generate a signal that represents the rotational speed of the drive sprocket, by means of scanning of the slot-shaped recesses—which can move relative to the detecting apparatus—and the elevations present between the slot-shaped recesses.

  • Patent number: 7597182
Abstract: An escalator or moving walk has a drive arranged in a reversing area. The drive drives chain wheels that move the step band or pallet band and include a motor, an axial gear, a first hollow shaft and a second hollow shaft. The motor drives a belt to drive a gear input shaft that runs coaxial to the first hollow shaft. Arranged at one end of the gear input shaft is an operating brake; the other end of the gear input shaft is connected to the axial gear. A first flange connects a first chain wheel to a truss. A second chain wheel is arranged at one end of the second hollow shaft; the other end of the second hollow shaft is connected to the housing of the axial gear. A second flange connected to a side plate serves as a torque converter bearing for the axial gear.

  • Publication number: 20060054417
Abstract: A device for lubricating escalators or moving walks has a lubricant container, a lubricant supply line, and a control device. The lubricant container is arranged in such manner that lubricant moves out of the lubricant container to at least one lubrication point under the influence of gravity. A lubricant valve is located in the lubricant supply line. The control device is coupled to the valve and operates the valve in a requirements-related manner, in reliance upon installation-specific parameters of the escalator or moving walk.
