  • Patent number: 9816945
Abstract: At least one property of a complex liquid is determined utilizing first and second sensing devices for measuring a respective first and second physical parameter of the liquid and generating respective first and second measured data indicative thereof. A control unit connectable to the sensing devices is used for analyzing the first and second measured data and determining the at least one property of the complex liquid. The first measured data may be responsive to a relatively low-frequency electric or electromagnetic field induced in the liquid, and the second measured data may be a response of the liquid to a relatively high-frequency external electromagnetic field applied to it.

  • Publication number: 20170004368
Abstract: A method of identifying an individual based on the individual's sweat duets, including recording one or more images of the sweat ducts of a selected position on the individual's skin with a camera that forms images from electromagnetic signals in the sub terahertz frequency range, and transferring the one or more images to a computer for processing.

  • Patent number: 8311616
Abstract: A method and system for non-invasive determination of at least one condition of a living organism selected from physiological conditions and emotional states of the living organism are described. The method comprises sensing electromagnetic waves emanated from a skin portion in an extremely high frequency (EHF) band, and obtaining from the sensed electromagnetic waves at least one unique biometric signature of the living organism indicative of the organism condition. The system includes an antenna array unit configured for sensing the electromagnetic waves emanated from the skin portion; and a receiving unit configured and operable for obtaining the unique biometric signature. The sensed electromagnetic waves are indicative of bioelectric activity of neurally connected and electromagnetically interacting structures distributed in a skin portion of the living organism.

  • Patent number: 8200307
Abstract: A device for measuring a glucose level or some other parameter of living tissue that affects the dielectric properties of the tissue is disclosed. The device comprises an electrode arrangement (5) having a plurality of electrodes (5-i). The signal from a signal source (31) can be applied to the electrode arrangement via a switching assembly (39). The switching assembly (39) is designed to selectively connect a first and a second pattern of the electrodes (5-i) to the signal source, thereby generating a first and a second electrical field with different spatial distribution in the tissue. By using a differential method which relies on measuring the impedance of the electrode arrangement (5) for each field and on suitable subtraction of the measured results, surface effects can be reduced and the focus of the measurement can be offset to a point deeper inside the tissue.

  • Publication number: 20040134997
Abstract: A method and system for controlling atmospheric conditions in a portion of the atmosphere for weather modification is described. The control of atmospheric conditions is carried out by controllably urging the collisions between the water droplets in the atmosphere so as to cause their controllable coalescence. The urging is characterized by adjusting non-gravitational attraction forces between the droplets to a predetermined value so as to alter a collision rate between the water droplets to a desired value. The changes of the non-gravitational attraction force between the droplets are achieved by dosed seeding in a portion of a cloud or fog a particulate material that is electrically charged to a required magnitude and polarity. The dosed seeding of the charged materials controls the concentration of the charged droplets and the electric attraction between the charged droplets with neutral droplets as well as the electric interaction between the charged droplets.
