Abstract: A computer tool allows a user to manipulate displayed content of a web page by a user device. The computer tool may be used to implement a collapsing, foldable browser that allows users to customize web content. The computer tool receives an indication of a user defined first portion of the content of a web page displayed by a browser, determines a remaining portion of the content of the web other than the first portion; and renders only the first user defined portion on a display screen of a display associated with the user device. An attribute may be associated with the first portion and displayed in proximity to the first portion to provide functions to manipulate the first portion within the display screen of the display associated with the user device. A menu may be associated with the attribute.

Abstract: Computer tools, processes, and systems for capturing web content are provided. A webpage is rendered on a user device. An area within the rendered webpage is selected. Metadata describing the location of the web content within the selected area of the rendered webpage is determined and persistently stored within a database. A window is provided on a user device rendering the web content corresponding to the selected area. The web content is rendered within the window in the same context as the web content was initially rendered on the user device. The rendered web content may include partial objects or elements of the web page and provide all the functionality normally associated with the web content. The web content may be shared with other users including sending a message with a link configured to render the web content corresponding to the selected area on a user device.

Abstract: A bid estimating system and method is provided according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention includes a processor that accesses a database of existing customer information specific to that customer. The processor identifies information specific to the customer stored in the database and determines an estimate, in real time, for the services provided based on the customer specific information. The estimate is then conveyed to the customer for their approval. According to one preferred embodiment the service provider is a landscaper. According to this embodiment the potential customer provides the customer's address. A processor then access a real estate database for the address and determines a bid based on the database information corresponding to the address. Alternatively, a landscaper can create accurate bids for mailers simply by identifying an address and selecting the types of services to be performed in order to determine the cost of the services.
