  • Publication number: 20250022025
Abstract: Embodiments facilitate commercial transactions between a user and one or more vendors without requiring a user to provide information unique to a user account for the vendor. Embodiments prompt a user to select one or more vendors from a list of vendors. An authorization is obtained from the user to allow the computer program to retrieve the product from the list of vendors and on behalf of the user. The computer program then requests and receives, from each vendor, information for accessing an electronic resource of the vendor. In embodiments, the received information is unique to the user account for the vendor. The computer program then obtains the product from the vendor based on the received information. The computer program thus presents a centralized management service for obtaining product from a plurality of vendors and without requiring the user to provide user information unique to the user for each vendor.

  • Patent number: 12182156
Abstract: An approach to implement an extract, transform and load system, a queue is provided for holding units of data between extraction and transformation. When units of data suffer a rate limit error in the load phase, they are requeued so they can be resubmitted for transformation. The contents of the queue are monitored and, if too many requeued units of data are detected in the queue, then this is taken as an indicator of an unacceptable number of rate limit errors and active pacing management is triggered. A retry schedule is defined for the requeued units of data. Extraction is temporarily halted to allow the requeued units of data to be retransformed without more units of data queuing up. Then, after the suspension is lifted, a pacing delay is inserted between subsequent extract events to avoid the same load phase bottleneck recurring.

  • Patent number: 12158569
Abstract: A laser beam circulator includes a first mirror and a second mirror. The first and second mirrors are symmetric with respect to an axis therebetween. The circulator also includes a sample that is substantially planar. The axis extends through the sample. The sample is oriented at an angle with respect to a plane that is perpendicular to the axis. The angle is from about 0.1° to about 10°. The circulator also includes a laser configured to emit a laser beam that circulates multiple times from the second mirror to the sample to the first mirror and back to the second mirror. The laser beam passes through the sample during each circulation. The sample absorbs a portion of the laser beam each time the laser beam passes through the sample.

  • Publication number: 20240377111
Abstract: A pumping scheme and cryo-cooler design for cryogenic optical refrigeration is described, which is power scalable, alignment free, and optimized for the use of low brightness, highly divergent diode laser sources. Such highly divergent pump beams are employed in order to drastically suppress potential nonlinearities (such as absorption saturation, self-focusing, and stimulation emission) that have thus far prevented power scaling in such devices. This promises lower cost, simpler, more compact, more energy efficient, and more reliable vibration free optical (cryo-) coolers. This cooler design can also be implemented using high-brightness pumps (such as fiber lasers) by adjusting the divergence of the beam.
