Abstract: The apparatus provides feedback training of the proper base support during gait therapy of patients with neurological disorders. The apparatus produces recognizable by the user signals in response to change in distance between legs of the user or between the body of the user and an assisstive device. The apparatus is adjustable to desire distance between two legs or a distance between an assisstive device and the user's body, and to a particular exercise protocol.

Abstract: An exercise device particularly adapted for an isometric workout of lower body muscles includes a seating plate. Releasably attached to a front wall of the seating plate is a fixed bar. Then, pivotally attached respectively to top and bottom ends of the fixed bar are inner ends of upper and lower movable support members. On an outer end of the upper support member is a fastener. This fastener includes a pin for selective insertion in one of a set of spaced apart holes in an outer end of the lower support member to join the member ends. Finally, a sleeve-type fastener of a leg engaging member is slidably disposed on the upper support member. Leg engaging member positioning is secured by a further pin insertable in one of a set of holes in an outer end of the upper support member. The leg engaging member includes a pair of padded ends piece spaced apart by a transversely positioned middle padded piece. Contact discs of the end pieces abut the middle padded piece.

Abstract: A leg exerciser includes two turning disks removable united with the base plate and supplied with adjustable resistance elements, electronic module to measure weight distribution, and stabilizing elements. The base plate furnishes a plurality of horizontal, vertical, and angular positions of each disk providing symmetrical weight bearing of the user imparting rotary movements of each leg independently against resistance.

Abstract: A device for exercising the abdominal muscles and method comprising an informing unit having a sensor, an announciator with a signal-controlling circuit board and a signal reproducer, and elements to enable positioning and retaining the informing unit on the user's belly. The abdominal muscles are exercised by flexing them using the information from the sensor. These attract the user's attention to the exercising of abdominal muscles, by reproducing an exercise command or musical note, serving to indicate to the user to contract muscles, and stop the command, therefore resulting in more efficient development of the abdominal muscles.
