  • Publication number: 20150176443
Abstract: A transfer device is provided with variable rotation angle having an internally toothed ring gear, an externally toothed sun gear, a transmitter element and an adjustable actuation device, wherein the transmitter element comprises a circumferential engagement device arranged between the ring gear and sun gear. The actuation device comprises an activation element that can be moved along the engagement device for rotation angle adjustment. In this case, the circumferential engagement device is partially engaged with the internal toothing of the ring gear and partially engaged with the external toothing of the sun gear by means of the activation element. Moreover, a correspondingly designed camphaser of a combustion engine, and a method for adjusting the relative rotation angle position of the camshaft to the crankshaft in a combustion engine, are provided.

  • Publication number: 20150133256
Abstract: A lantern-type gear unit, in particular for a camshaft adjuster, comprising at least two meshing gear wheels, a first gear wheel being configured as a lantern gear wheel and a second gear wheel including a lantern gear ring that engages with the lantern gear wheel. The lantern gear ring comprises at least one first annular bolt holder and a plurality of bolts arranged on the boundary of the bolt holder. The annular bolt holder has, together with the bolts, a circumferential contour that is overlap-free with respect to the lantern gear wheel in an axially parallel direction, so that the annular bolt holder can, together with the bolts, be assembled with the lantern gear wheel in an axially parallel direction. A camshaft adjuster for an internal combustion engine comprising such a lantern-type gear unit is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20150083061
Abstract: A cam phaser transmission device is adjustable in rotation angle with a drive gear and output gear arranged coaxial to a rotation axis of the transmission device, having a revolving transmitter element and actuating device. The transmitter element is arranged eccentric relative to the rotation axis and formed as a lantern element. The lantern element comprises a transmitter disk disposed eccentric to the rotation axis and comprising pins protruding concentrically to the transmitter disk relative to the face side of the disk. The lantern element in sections engages with the drive gear and output gear and is by an eccentric portion of the actuating device movable eccentrically to the rotation axis to move the drive gear and output gear relative to each other. In an inverted embodiment, the drive gear and the output gear are formed as lantern elements each engaging with a lantern toothing on the transmitter disk.

  • Publication number: 20150087462
Abstract: A gear mechanism with a sun gear and a ring gear is provided, where the sun gear and the ring gear are arranged coaxial relative to a gear axis of rotation, and with a transmitter element and an actuating device. The transmitter element comprises a revolving transmitter ring which is arranged eccentric relative to the gear axis of rotation and in sections engages with the sun gear and the ring gear. The actuating device comprises a wobble body, where the revolving transmitter ring is movable by the wobble body eccentrically about the gear axis of rotation in order to move the sun gear and the ring gear relative to each other. A cam phaser for an internal combustion engine having such a gear mechanism is also provided.
