  • Patent number: 11648924
Abstract: A brake system, including four hydraulically actuatable wheel brakes. Each wheel brake is assigned in each case one outlet valve which is closed when electrically deenergized. Each wheel brake is assigned in each case one inlet valve which is open when electrically deenergized. The brake system furthermore includes a simulator which is actuatable by a brake pedal, wherein two pressure provision devices are provided for actively building up pressure in the wheel brakes, two brake circuits are hydraulically formed, wherein, in each brake circuit, in each case one pressure provision device is hydraulically connected to two wheel brakes, and wherein two separate on-board electrical systems are provided, and wherein each pressure provision device is fed in each case by one of the two on-board electrical systems.

  • Patent number: 9963134
Abstract: A method for controlling and/or regulating a motor vehicle brake system. The system at least one electric regenerative brake and wheel brakes. A pressure medium is supplied from a first pressure source actuated by the driver. At least one brake circuit has a pressure accumulator, a second pressure source connected to the pressure accumulator, and at least two actuatable valves. When an activation condition is met, the first pressure source is separated from the wheel brakes by closing a first valve in at least one active brake circuit, and pressure medium is conducted from the pressure accumulator into at least one wheel brake. A second valve of an active brake circuit(s), is between the pressure accumulator and the first pressure source, and the first valve of the same brake circuit are opened during the operation of the second pressure source if a ventilation condition is met.

  • Patent number: 9333957
Abstract: A method in which a brake system for a motor vehicle is controlled and/or regulated. The motor vehicle having at least one electrically regenerative brake and a pressure-medium-operated, in particular a hydraulic brake system with friction brakes, wherein the wheel brakes assigned to the individual wheels are arranged in at least two brake circuits which can be charged with a pressure medium by a first brake pressure generator, in particular a tandem master brake cylinder, and wherein each brake circuit includes at least one pressure accumulator and at least two electronically activatable hydraulic valves. During a braking process with the one or more electrically regenerative brakes, by suitable activation of at least one hydraulic valve, at a point in time, the pressure medium is discharged only into precisely one predetermined pressure accumulator. The invention also relates to a corresponding brake system.

  • Patent number: 9180780
Abstract: A method in which open- or closed-loop control of a motor vehicle brake system is carried out having friction brakes on the wheels of at least one axle, wherein the brake pressure generating means for the wheels of at least one axle are in a direct operative connection to the brake pedal, and at least one electrical machine is in an operative connection to at least one axle which can be used by applying an electrically regenerative braking torque for converting kinetic energy into electrical energy. In order to raise the efficiency level of the recuperation, the regenerative deceleration is increased even in the case of an unchanged brake pedal position and/or brake pedal force, and a motor vehicle brake system which is open-loop or closed-loop controlled.
