  • Patent number: 12269018
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a supported, platinum-containing and sulfur-containing shell catalyst for the partial or complete dehydrogenation of perhydrogenated or partially hydrogenated cyclic hydrocarbons. The present invention also relates to a method for producing a platinum-containing and sulfur-containing shell catalyst and to a platinum-containing and sulfur-containing shell catalyst. The present invention further relates to a method for the partial or complete dehydrogenation of perhydrogenated or partially hydrogenated cyclic hydrocarbons.

  • Publication number: 20240217814
Abstract: A method for providing hydrogen gas includes providing a liquid hydrogen carrier material, removing oxygen-carrying and/or sulfur-carrying and/or halogen-containing components from the liquid hydrogen carrier material, releasing hydrogen gas by catalytic dehydrogenation of the purified hydrogen carrier material, and conditioning the released hydrogen gas.

  • Publication number: 20240210367
Abstract: A method for determining a state of a hydrogen carrier material comprises using the hydrogen carrier material in a cyclic storage process, wherein each storage cycle comprises charging the hydrogen carrier material with hydrogen, releasing hydrogen from the hydrogen carrier material and producing a mixture by adding a defined amount of an indicator material to the hydrogen carrier material. Further, determining a proportion of the indicator material in the mixture and determining a number of storage cycles for the hydrogen carrier material on the basis of the determined proportion of the indicator material and/or a degradation of the hydrogen carrier material on the basis of the determined proportion of the indicator material as a state of the hydrogen carrier material are provided.

  • Publication number: 20240190703
Abstract: A method for providing hydrogen gas comprises a release of hydrogen gas in a dehydrogenation reactor by catalytic dehydrogenation of an at least partially charged hydrogen carrier medium to form an at least partially discharged hydrogen carrier medium, a catalytic oxidation of the at least partially discharged hydrogen carrier medium means of an oxidizing agent to form an at least partially oxidized hydrogen carrier medium in an oxidation reactor, a reduction of the at least partially oxidized hydrogen carrier medium to form the at least partially charged hydrogen carrier medium by catalytic hydrogenation in a hydrogenation reactor and a removal of at least one oxygen-containing impurity from the at least partially charged hydrogen carrier medium and/or from the at least partially oxidized hydrogen carrier medium.

  • Patent number: 11914676
Abstract: Technologies and techniques for monitoring and correcting the obfuscation of vehicle-related data. Personal data may be removed from the transmitted vehicle-related data, and the vehicle-related data after the removal of the personal references may be combined to form a vehicle-related data set without personal references. A temporal and spatial obfuscation of the vehicle-related data set may be carried out without personal references based on an estimated size of a cluster of data-collecting vehicles for generating an anonymous data set. The anonymous data set, including the degree of obfuscation, may be provided to a data user and an actual cluster size for a spatial region based on the provided anonymous data sets may be determined and compared with the estimated cluster size used for the obfuscation of the anonymous data set. The comparison result may be then used to correct the obfuscation of the spatial region.

  • Publication number: 20240034621
Abstract: A method for the use of hydrogen as a resource includes producing a mixture by a catalytic reaction in a reactor. The mixture includes hydrogen carrier medium to which hydrogen can be chemically bound by a catalytic hydrogenation reaction and from which hydrogen can be released again by a catalytic dehydrogenation reaction, and hydrogen that is dissolved, i.e. physically stored, therein, and hydrogenating the hydrogen carrier medium with the dissolved hydrogen in a hydrogenation unit.
