  • Publication number: 20240111278
Abstract: A method for formulation and modelling of intentions in process plant engineering includes formulating intentions of an actor by guiding the actor to provide the intentions to an assistance system, wherein the intentions are hierarchically structured and comprise at least a goal, describing the goal, an implementation, how the goal can be achieved, and a requirement for the goal and the implementation. The intentions are translated into an intention model, which is transformed into a graphical representation that is provided to the actor.

  • Patent number: 11790240
Abstract: This disclosure relates to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning networks for predicting or determining demand metrics across multiple channels. An analytics platform can receive channel events from multiple channels corresponding to geographic areas, and channel features related to demand conditions in the channels can be extracted from the channel events. During a training phase, the channel features can be accumulated into one or more training datasets for training one or more demand prediction models. The one or more demand prediction models can be trained to predict or determine demand metrics for each of the channels. The demand metrics can indicate or predict demand conditions based on the current conditions in the channels and/or based on future, predicted conditions in the channels. Other embodiments are disclosed herein as well.

  • Patent number: 11527355
Abstract: A primary coil former for an ignition coil has a winding carrier surface configured for a primary coil wound thereon. Two primary winding stops limit the winding carrier surface at first and second axial ends of the carrier surface, respectively. Two holders are formed at the first axial end, each configured for holding one end of a winding wire. Two deflection domes are formed at the second axial end, one of the domes configured for guiding a winding wire back to the winding carrier surface for a clockwise winding and the other dome configured for guiding a winding wire back to the winding carrier surface for a counterclockwise winding. A groove in the winding carrier surface receives a winding wire which leads from one of the ends of the winding carrier surface up to a gap between the two deflection domes at the opposite end of the winding carrier surface.

  • Patent number: 9809306
Abstract: A system for flock-based control of a plurality of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The system includes UAVs each including a processor executing a local control module and memory accessible by the processor for use by the local control module. The system includes a ground station system with a processor executing a fleet manager module and with memory storing a different flight plan for each of the UAVs. The flight plans are stored on the UAVs, and, during flight operations, each of the local control modules independently controls the corresponding UAV to execute its flight plan without ongoing control from the fleet manager module. The fleet manager module is operable to initiate flight operations by concurrently triggering initiation of the flight plans by the multiple UAVs. Further, the local control modules monitor front and back end communication channels and, when a channel is lost, operate the UAV in a safe mode.
