  • Publication number: 20240118993
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for selecting, curating, normalizing, enriching, and synthesizing the results of user experience tests. In some embodiments, a system identifies a qualitative element within a result set for a user experience test. The system then selects a machine learning model to apply based on one or more attributes associated with the user experience test and generates a predicted visibility, quality, and/or relevance for the qualitative element. Based on the prediction, the system generates a user interface that curates a set of results of the user experience test.

  • Publication number: 20240104193
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for direct assignment of physical devices to confidential virtual machines (VMs). At a first guest privilege context of a guest partition, a direct assignment of a physical device associated with a host computer system to the guest partition is identified. The guest partition includes the first guest privilege context and a second guest privilege context, which is restricted from accessing memory associated with the first guest privilege context. The guest partition corresponds to a confidential VM, such that a memory region associated with the guest partition is inaccessible to a host operating system. It is determined, based on a policy, that the physical device is allowed to be directly assigned to the guest partition. Communication between the physical device and the second guest privilege context is permitted, such as by exposing the physical device on a virtual bus and/or forwarding an interrupt.

  • Publication number: 20230046064
Abstract: A computer-implemented method comprises generating computer executable code as one or more code portions; detecting a number of processing operations required to reach one or more predetermined stages in execution of each code portion; and associating with each code portion one or more progress indicators, each representing a respective execution stage of the one or more predetermined stages within execution of that code portion. The code portions are executed by a processor powered by an unpredictable power source. When the processor detects an energy condition indicating that no more than a reserve quantity of electrical energy is available, the progress indicators are used to determine whether or not to perform a checkpoint.

  • Patent number: 11183312
Abstract: A method for treating a fluid waste, comprising adding one or more process additives to the fluid waste in an amount sufficient to change the wasteform chemistry is disclosed. The addition step may be chosen from adding a dispersant or a deflocculant an additive to decrease the reactive metal components, to bind fission products and decrease volatilization of toxic or radioactive elements or species during thermal treatment, or to target and react with the fine particle size component of the waste to decrease dusting and immobilize components in a durable phase. After mixing the fluid waste with the described additives the waste is eventually hot-isostatic pressing, to form a durable and stable waste form.
