  • Patent number: 7822026
Abstract: A transit device and system that include a first link configured to receive a plurality of packets, and a second link communicatively coupled to the first link via a slow protocol filter. The plurality of packets include a first type of packet (e.g., data packets) and a second type of packet (e.g., slow protocol control packets). The transit device also includes a slow protocol filter that couples the first link to the second link, with the slow protocol filter being coupled to a local slow protocol client (e.g., local host CPU). Moreover, the slow protocol filter is configured to receive the plurality of packets from the first link, and to determine whether each of the plurality of packets is of the first type or the second type. The slow protocol filter also is configured to transmit each of the plurality of packets that are of the first type to the second link, and to transmit each of the plurality of packets that are the second type to the local slow protocol client.

  • Publication number: 20100108369
Abstract: Printed circuit board capacitors include a first electrode comprising a via extending at least partially through a multi-layer printed circuit board and a plurality of conductive pads in electrical contact with the via and extending radially outward from the via, and a second electrode electrically isolated from the first electrode and comprising a plurality of ground-plane layers of the printed circuit board. The plurality of ground-plane layers include electrically conductive material overlapping the plurality of conductive pads.

  • Publication number: 20070118358
Abstract: A method of implementing a grammar in hardware processing is described. The method comprises determining a delineation of one or more terminals in a received string; assigning one or more non-terminals to one or more of the one or more terminals, wherein the one or more non-terminals belong to a grammar and are stored in a symbol table; reducing the one or more non-terminals to one or more reduced non-terminals symbols based on a set of reduction rules; producing one or more leaf non-terminals based on at least one of the one or more reduced non-terminals and a set of production rules; and generating actions and data as a result of the actions based on the production rules used to produce the one or more leaf non-terminals and based on the delineation of the received string.

  • Publication number: 20020118300
Abstract: Media Editing Method and Software therefor A method of viewing a sequence of media clips consisting essentially of a plurality of computer files and software for achieving the method are disclosed. A user of a local machine connected to a computer network, which may be a local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) or the wider internet uses a browser program to make a connection with a primary server on that network. The primary server hosts a database application which the user can update with media clip file location information, sequencing information, and play variables oassociated with those media clips. The media clip file locations may be locally stored on the primary server, or on any other computer connected to the network allowing the user access to files thereon.
