The system involves a data storage coupled to the privacy protection device, via a secure link, such as a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) tunnel that provides an encryption protocol. The data storage is divided into multiple storage sections corresponding to the multiple private modes. Each section is configured for storing encrypted data supporting a particular private mode. The privacy protection device enables the user to set a selected private mode and runs software applications that use the data from the storage section corresponding to the selected mode.

    Abstract: A system is provided for controlling data communication between a computing device and a network access device over a physical medium. The network access device may be configured for providing access of the computing device to a remote computing resource over a network link. The system involves a Media Access Control (MAC) device for performing a MAC protocol to support data communication between the computing device and the network access device and a physical layer (PHY) device that connects the MAC device to the physical medium. Data path circuitry is provided between the PHY device and the MAC device for transferring signals from the computing device to the network access device, and from the network access device to the computing device. The data path circuitry is controlled to establish a unidirectional signal transfer mode between the computing device and the network access device by preventing the signals from being transferred to the network access device.

A network access controller is configured to interact with the network interface for controlling access of the CR user to the remote computing resources. Multiple data storage sections may be provided. Each of them keeps computing environment data (CED) associated with a particular CR provider. The CED define a secure local computing environment prescribed by the CR provider for accessing the remote computing resources offered by this CR provider. The network access controller enables the CR provider to manage the CED and prevents the CED from being modified even by the CR user.

Each module and stator core segment can be individually installed and removed without disturbing the other units.     Abstract: The present invention comprises various uses of enzymatic protein hydrolysate (“EPH,”). The EPH production process involves the profound enzymatic protein hydrolysis of marine animal biomass, whereby cold-water fish wastes are reacted with viscera containing aggressive enzymes that are effective in even mild (slightly alkaline) medium of water. The EPH may be dried to a powder state that is made of approximately 70%-90% free amino acids, 10%-20% highly molecular peptides and 3%-5% vitamins, minerals and oils. The biological value of the EPH stems from the special mix of nutrients and the method by which they are obtained. EPH is particularly suitable as an enhancer for the acceleration of known biological and industrial processes, and most particularly, processes depending upon bacterial or cellular action.

    Abstract: A motor has a rotor and a stator. The stator is made up of a plurality of separate electromagnet core segments disposed coaxially about an axis of rotation. The core segments are affixed, without ferromagnetic contact with each other, to a non-ferromagnetic support structure. The rotor is configured in an annular ring that at least partially surrounds the annular stator to define two parallel axial air gaps between the rotor and stator respectively on opposite axial sides of the stator. Permanent magnets are distributed on each side of the rotor annular ring that faces an air gap. Preferably, each stator electromagnet core segment has a pair of poles aligned in a direction generally parallel to the axis of rotation with pole faces generally perpendicular to the axis of rotation. A winding is formed on a core portion that links the poles to produce, when energized, magnetic poles of opposite polarity at the pole faces.

The permanent magnet rotor is configured in an annular ring coaxial with, and outside of, the stator. The stator ring contains a plurality of wound core segments that are ferromagnetically isolated from each other. The core segments are secured to a rigid skeletal structure that is centrally fixed to a stationary shaft. The stator support structure is formed of spine members that extend radially away from the center. U-shaped plates at the outer ends of the spine members engage adjacent pair of stator segments. Within the inner periphery of the stator ring, space is provided within which motor control circuitry and battery power supply may be incorporated.
