  • Patent number: 11705566
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a fuel cell system comprising a fuel cell stack for providing an electrical power Pstack depending on a power demand, at least one auxiliary unit for operating the fuel cell stack with an electrical power consumption Paux, at least one consumer with an electrical power request Puse, and a control unit for regulating the power demand as well as a method for controlling such a fuel cell system. It is provided that the control unit is configured to selectively operate the fuel cell system in a first operating mode or in a second operating mode, whereby the fuel cell stack is turned off depending on the operating mode upon the falling below of an optimal efficiency degree operating point P(?max) of the fuel cell system or a minimum operating point Pmin of the fuel cell stack. In particular, at least one auxiliary unit is also turned off in the first operating mode, when the optimal efficiency degree operating point decreases.

  • Patent number: 11440542
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for setting a driving speed of a motor vehicle on a route. A control device of the motor vehicle sets the driving speed depending on an operating position limited by two extreme positions of a pedal device of the motor vehicle, which may be operated by a driver, wherein the control device detects the operating position of the pedal device, and depending on the detected operating position, determines in at least one specified driving mode a target driving speed corresponding to the respective operating position, and the control device sets the driving speed corresponding to the respective target driving speed by means of a closed loop control as long as the respective operating position is detected. The setting in this case takes place independently of a current condition of the route. The invention also includes a motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10682912
Abstract: A method for operating an output apparatus of a motor vehicle performed by the output apparatus and including receiving a first consumption signal that indicates a consumption relating to a first form of energy measured in a first unit of measurement, receiving a second consumption signal that indicates a consumption relating to a second form of energy measured in a second unit of measurement, providing at least one reference element that indicates a respective predetermined standard consumption, displaying the at least one reference element on a display unit, and controlling a position of a consumption display element on the display unit based on the two consumption signals and, as a result, adjusting a relative position of the consumption display element with regard to the at least one reference element.

  • Patent number: 10076972
Abstract: A vehicle-electrical-system assembly and a method for operating a vehicle electrical system of an electrically drivable transportation unit. The method includes determining a present electrical power consumption of a component having dynamic power-consumption behavior at a first time, providing a base value by smoothing the power-consumption behavior over time, defining a power reserve for the component by adding a static power offset to the base value, and limiting a vehicle-electrical-system power available for a traction machine of the transportation unit to provide the defined power reserve for the component.
