  • Publication number: 20070017994
Abstract: By way of example, in this example of the invention, it would also be possible to dispense in a manner which is not illustrated with the spring elements 2, and then for the element 1 to carry out an oscillating translational deflection. The invention relates to micromechanical optical elements having a reflective surface which can be deflected electrostatically or electromagnetically in a known manner and which can be used for a large number of applications. The object of the invention is to provide an element such as this at low cost and with improved dynamic deformation behaviour. The elements according to the invention with a reflective surface are in this case held by spring elements, in which case the element which can be deflected is held on mutually opposite sides by in each case at least two mutually independent spring elements.

  • Publication number: 20060158662
Abstract: A scanner for providing a possibility of detecting a surface relief of an object includes a projector configured to guide a light beam in an illumination line over the surface relief to obtain an illuminated location on the surface relief, the projector being further configured to output a projection signal from which a position of the light beam in the illumination line is derivable.

  • Publication number: 20060158666
Abstract: A device for determining a position of a light beam within an illumination line includes a light source for providing the light beam, wherein the light source is configured to move the light beam with a predefined movement in a movement area. Further, the device for determining includes a shutter with a shutter edge defining the illumination line, wherein the illumination line is a subarea of the movement area and wherein an optical sensor is disposed within the movement area on the shutter edge on the shutter such that detecting of a light beam from the light source by the optical sensor is possible, and wherein the optical sensor is configured to output a sensor signal when detecting the light beam of the light source. Furthermore, the device for determining includes a signal processing unit configured to determine the position of the light beam within the illumination line based on the predefined movement, the position of the optical sensor and the sensor signal.

  • Publication number: 20060071578
Abstract: A micromechanical element described includes a vibrating system having a vibrating body and an elastic suspension by means of which the vibrating body is suspended to be able to vibrate, and an adjuster for adjusting a resonant frequency of the vibrating system by applying a voltage difference between at least one part of the vibrating body and at least one stationary electrode.

  • Patent number: 6843568
Abstract: The present invention is based on the finding that the previous column and row representation in the scanning image projection has to be given up, in order to enable that the ratio between row and column frequency or vertical and horizontal deflection frequency is not critical and may be decreased. An inventive projection apparatus for projecting an image on an image field includes a deflection means for deflecting a light beam about a first deflection axis at a first deflection frequency and about a second deflection axis at a second deflection frequency different from the first, in order to move the light beam across the image field, as well as a modulation means for modulating an intensity of the light beam depending on the image to be projected. The first and second deflection frequencies differ by less than an order of magnitude.
