  • Patent number: 4384150
Abstract: A method of making either a softener for rubber mixtures or a furnace fuel oil comprises the steps of heating a hydrocarbonaceous solvent and introducing thereinto waste from vulcanized or nonvulcanized rubbers under intensive stirring. Then the waste is thermally decomposed at a pressure of 5.multidot.10.sup.2 to 25.10.sup.5 n/m.sup.2, the hydrocarbonaceous solvent continuously circulating through the reaction mixture. The end product is separated from the formed suspension by distillation at a temperature of 200.degree. to 560.degree. C. and at a pressure of 10 to 2.multidot.10.sup.5 n/m.sup.2 in the presence of an inert gaseous agent.

  • Patent number: 4353752
Abstract: The method comprises mixing polymeric materials containing a filler with a hydrocarbonaceous solvent in a ratio of from 1:0.5 to 1:60 parts by mass. The above mixture is isothermally heated to provide for a thermal decomposition of the polymeric materials and for a thermal decomposition of the polymeric materials and for a formation of a suspension.Low-boiling fractions are distilled from the formed suspension in the presence of an inert gaseous agent at a temperature of 50.degree. to 400.degree. C. and at a pressure of 1.multidot.10.sup.2 to 1.multidot.10.sup.5 n/m.sup.2.

  • Patent number: 4279865
Abstract: The organic compound oxidation plant comprises vessels for organic compounds and for liquid-phase oxidizer, and a mixer for mixing organic compounds. The plant further includes a furnace for heating organic compounds and a reactor for oxidizing organic compounds. The top portion of the reactor is made cylindrical and accommodates a spraying unit for the supply of organic compounds and a liquid-phase oxidizer dispersion unit. The bottom portion of the reactor is made conical and accommodates a spraying unit additionally mounted therein at an angle to the reactor horizontal axis. Said latter spraying unit has nozzles ensuring the supply of organic compounds to the conical surface of the reactor. The nozzles of the spraying unit are provided with screens serving to ensure directional movement of organic compounds to the spraying unit and with openings for the supply of organic compounds, above which openings guide deflectors are mounted.
