The invention also relates to a method for obtaining copolymers with olefin blocks and vinyl polar monomer blocks, said method using a single-component catalytic system made up of an organometallic complex containing a metal belonging to groups VIII to X. Said organometallic complex is advantageously active in the medium without adding cocatalyst.
