  • Publication number: 20240127432
Abstract: A system and method for achieving more accurate results when applying an image processing task to a series of medical images of a patient, without significantly increasing processing resource. The proposed system and method is based on receiving a plurality of image sequences of a particular anatomical region, each capturing cyclical movement of an anatomical object. Each image sequence is supplied to a classifier module which employs use of one or more machine learning algorithms to derive at least one score for each image sequence indicative of predicted success or quality of a result of the image processing task if applied to the given image series. This permits an assessment to be made in advance of which of the plurality of image series is most likely to result in the best (e.g. highest quality, or greatest amount of information) results from the image processing task.

  • Publication number: 20230089750
Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure are capable of capturing a user's movement using inertial measurement units (IMUs) that are embedded in, or otherwise attached to, clothing. In one embodiment, a wearable system for capturing a user's bodily movements includes a wearable item mechanically coupled to an inertial measurement unit (IMU). The wearable item, when worn by a user, positions the IMU proximate to a body part of the user. The system further includes a processor communicatively coupled to the IMU and configured to receive the sensor data from the IMU, generate movement data based on the sensor data, and transmit the movement data to a device.

  • Patent number: 11030612
Abstract: Systems and methods for interaction-based validation of electronic tickets. In some embodiments, the system renders a first visually illustrative scene on an interactive display screen of a mobile device, the first visually illustrative scene responsive to a pre-determined gesture performed at a predetermined location on the interactive display screen. Upon a user interacting with the first visually illustrative scene, an app on the user's mobile device extracts user interaction information. In response to determining that the user interaction information matches with a pre-determined gesture performed at the predetermined location, the system renders a second visually illustrative scene on the interactive display screen of the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20160086228
Abstract: Systems and methods for associating and delivering context-aware content to mobile devices via a programmable trigger that is based upon changes in the mobile device's location. A user's mobile device can interact with trigger-based tracking devices (e.g., Bluetooth beacons, NFC, etc.) which provides location information to the user's mobile device, such location information being relative to the tracking device. Embodiments of the present disclosure also comprise a server that delivers targeted content (e.g., text, graphics, audio, video, etc.) to mobile devices when a user is at a certain geographical location. The content delivered is associated with a context of the user's location which is based in part on the location information received relative to the tracking device. In some embodiments, the content delivery does not require a separate mobile application for the content provider but can be embedded inside transit-related information of a mobile application of a transit agency.
