    Abstract: Systems for monitoring patient activity and associated methods and systems are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the system can be configured to receive data indicative of motion of a joint acquired by a sensor positioned proximate a patient's joint. The system can detect patterns in the acquired data, and match corresponding patient activities to the detected patterns. The system can generate a report listing the patient activities, which can be transmitted to the patient's medical practitioner.
