    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an article using a powder bed fusion technique including depositing a first layer of a dry blend mixture on to a target surface, the dry blend mixture comprising a thermoplastic polymer powder and a stearate additive in a range of 2,000 ppm to 20,000 ppm; directing energy to the first layer of the dry blend mixture so as to melt and sinter at least portion of the first layer of the dry blend mixture; and successively depositing layers of the dry blend mixture and directing energy to the deposited layers so as to melt and sinter at least a portion of the successive layers to a prior layer to perform a layer-by-layer process until a three-dimensional structure is obtained.
