  • Patent number: 11940673
Abstract: A method of determining at least one parameter of an ophthalmic lens (40) including a complementary optical element (12) obtained by additive manufacturing and configured to provide at least a part of the optical function of the ophthalmic lens, the determining method including a step of providing two characterizing surfaces simulating two opposite surfaces of a complementary optical element (12), the distance between the two characterizing surfaces along a thickness axis (Z) defining the thickness of the complementary optical element; a step of optimizing the distance between the two characterizing surfaces (20) along the thickness axis (Z) so that the thickness of the complementary optical element reaches a thickness threshold while complying with the optical function of the ophthalmic lens (40); and a step of determining at least one parameter of the ophthalmic lens (40) on the basis of the optimized distance.

Abstract: A control system is for a motor vehicle to be driven according to a manual mode or according to various levels of driving automation by an automated driving module. The control system includes a driving assistance device and a steering control member. The steering control member includes at least one indicator light and the driving assistance device changes the status of the at least one indicator light when the driving assistance device determines an available level of driving automation, detects an active level of driving automation, determines as a function of the road configuration that the motor vehicle should be driven by the driver, and detects a switch between a level of driving automation and the manual mode.

  • Publication number: 20230115412
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing a marketing budget allocation service associated with an optimization and simulation engine in a data analytics system. The marketing budget allocation service is a marketing expenditure optimization service that provides marketing budget allocation intelligence and visualizations based on data analysis and business information (e.g., prior hypothesis input data or scenario input data). The marketing budget allocation service is based on a service pipeline that includes a set of allocation intelligence data processors and operations that are used to generate output that is managed (e.g., visualized, presented, and revised) using a data analytics user interface. In operation, based on analyzing marketing budget allocation data—via an allocation service analytics computation model, marketing budget allocation results data are generated.

  • Patent number: 7997943
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a first conductive member and a second conductive member. The first conductive member includes a first channel portion extending from a first wedge portion, with the first channel portion configured to receive a first conductor therein. The first conductive member includes a jaw movably coupled to the first channel portion and being positioned between the first channel portion and the first wedge portion. The second conductive member includes a second channel portion extending from a second wedge portion where the second channel portion configured to receive a second conductor. The first wedge portion and the second wedge portion are assembled such that the second wedge portion engages the jaw and moves the jaw to the closed position. The jaw engages the first conductor in the closed position. Optionally, the first channel portion may have a contoured shape.

  • Patent number: 7818687
Abstract: A Graphical User Interface or “GUI” for use with a computer operating systems that operates dynamically according to the user's preferences. Each element of the GUI is surrounded by a dynamic edge which allows the user to combine two or more elements together to create a visually coherent unit in real time. Users can merge or fuse together two or more edges together thus creating a combined group that has aspects and qualities from the constituent elements. Particular colors and color combinations can be created by the user along with user selected shapes and sizes of individual elements selected from a library of element shapes and sizes. The grouped elements can then be separated back to the individual elements for use in different applications or other groupings as later desired by the user.

  • Patent number: 6150959
Abstract: A system for monitoring the operation of an aircraft, especially a helicopter, which automatically provides information which relates to the operation of the aircraft. Data acquisition and processing units centralize data relating to the aircraft together and group them in information pages. At least one information page contains a flight report of at least the latest flight of the aircraft, which simultaneously provides a flight number, flight duration, number of cycles of the engines, number of cycles of the turbine, and any appropriate message regarding detected faults and/or whether any of the aircraft's limitations have been exceeded. A display unit displays the information within the view of at least one pilot of the aircraft. At the end of a flight, a selection unit automatically selects a flight report which is automatically displayed by the display.
