Publication number: 20240067010Abstract: The present invention concerns a charging cable management system, which is motorized and is applied in electric vehicle charging equipment, or other applications that require this type of solution. The developed charging cable management system allows extending or retracting a suspension cable that assists the user in the task of mobilizing and moving an electric charging cable for charging electric vehicles, preventing it from touching the ground when not in use. In addition, the charging cable management system allows the use and mobilization of charging cables with greater longitudinal amplitude, minimizing the efforts associated with carrying out these tasks by the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 7, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Pedro Nuno MARCOS MOREIRA DA SILVA, Vitor Alexandre MARTINS FERREIRA, Germano Miguel OLIVEIRA DA SILVA, Susana Marinho FERREIRA GUEDES, Bruno Filipe ALVES DE OLIVEIRA, Nelson NEVES DA ROCHA, Filipe Alexandre SILVA FERREIRA

Patent number: 11912645Abstract: The invention is based on the discovery of a new bacterial compound with analgesic properties which could be used as a new tool for the treatment of pain disorders such as visceral pain. Studying the mechanisms implicated in analgesic properties of the probiotic Escherichia coli strain Nissle 1917 (EcN), inventors characterized, the amino fatty acids produced by EcN, which display the Ecn analgesic properties. One of these compounds inhibits the hypersensitivity to colorectal distension induced by capsaicin, which is a very powerful nociceptive compound and acts via the GABA B receptor. Furthermore, inventors demonstrate that this compound is able to cross the cellular epithelial barrier (such as the intestinal epithelium). Thus, the invention relates to a lipopetide compound, derived from gamma-aminobutyric acid. The invention also relates to a lipopeptide compound according to the invention for the treatment of treating pain disorder, such as somatic pain and visceral pain.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2018Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignees: INSERM (INSTITUT NATIONAL DE LA SANTÉ ET DE LA RECHERCHE MÉDICALE), CENTRE HOSPITALIER UNIVERSITAIRE DE TOULOUSE, CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE—CNRS—, ECOLE NATIONALE VETERINAIRE DE TOULOUSE, UNIVERSITE PAUL SABATIER TOULOUSE III, INSTITUT NATIONAL DE RECHERCHE POUR L'AGRICULTURE, L'ALIMENTATION ET L'ENVIRONNEMENT, UNIVERSITE DE MONTPELLIER, ECOLE NATIONALE SUPERIEURE DE CHIMIE DE MONTPELLIERInventors: Nicolas Cenac, Justine Bertrand-Michel, Teresa Perez-Berezo, Thierry Durand, Jean-Marie Galano, Julien Pujo, Eric Oswald, Patricia Martin, Pauline Le Faouder, Alexandre Guy

Publication number: 20230256860Abstract: The present document describes an intelligent charging system in direct current for electric vehicle batteries. The developed system, based on the concept of modularity, allows an intelligent, simultaneous and sequential charging of different vehicle models available on the market. Its modularity makes it possible to charge electric vehicle batteries at maximum powers that are a multiple of a given unit power, for example 50 kW, the only limitation for the total power of the charging system is the availability of the electrical power supply on which it depends, whether it’s alternating current or direct current, coming from the electrical grid or other sources such as: local generation, energy storage banks, electrical traction grids, among others.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 25, 2021Publication date: August 17, 2023Inventors: Pedro Nuno MARCOS MOREIRA DA SILVA, Vitor Alexandre MARTINS FERREIRA, Susana MARINHO FERREIRA GUEDES, Paulo DELFIM OLIVEIRA RODRIGUES

Patent number: 10511769Abstract: A system comprising a video camera and a client device and a method performed therein. The video camera captures a plurality of images concurrently using a plurality of image sensors having partly overlapping fields of views. Overlapping portions of the images are identified, and the images are joined to generate a panorama image. When joining the images, image data is included from only one of the images in overlapping portions, and image data from the other images in the overlapping portions is ignored. The panorama image and the ignored image data is encoded and transmitted to the client device in an encoded video stream. The client device decodes the video stream and, if the client device is customized, it updates the panorama image in portions corresponding to overlapping portions of the plurality of images using the image data that was ignored by the video camera when generating the panorama image.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2018Date of Patent: December 17, 2019Assignee: Axis ABInventors: Viktor Edpalm, Song Yuan, Alexandre Martins
