  • Patent number: 9502950
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a rotor for rotating electrical machines, notably an alternator, the rotor including two magnet wheels defining between them at least one interpole space arranged to receive at least one magnet. At least one angular indexing mark is produced on at least one of the magnet wheels. At least one groove partially delimiting the interpole space is formed, by machining, on the magnet wheel while maintaining the magnet wheel in an angular position dependent on the angular indexing mark.

  • Patent number: 8531081
Abstract: A method for producing a rotor assembly for a rotating electrical machine, especially an alternator, the rotor assembly including two rotors defining between themselves at least one inter-rotor space suitable for accommodating at least one magnet structure, which includes at least one index mark. The magnet structure is positioned against at least two of the rotors, using the index mark to identify a direction of orientation of the magnetization of the magnet structure.

  • Patent number: 8446064
Abstract: A rotor (24) for a rotary electric machine (20), mainly for the automotive industry, has a front polar wheel (46N) and a rear polar wheel (46S). Each polar wheel (46N, 46S) includes claws (52) extending axially towards the other polar wheel (46N, 46S). Each claw (52) of the polar wheel (46N, 46S) is circumferentially interleaved between two claws (52) of the other polar wheel (46N, 46S). At least two interpolar gaps (62) are provided between the side faces (60) opposite two consecutive claws (52), and at least two members (68) defining a magnetic barrier are provided in two interpolar gaps (62) associated on either side of a predetermined claw (52D). The front longitudinal ends (72) of the two members (68) are connected by a connector (82) in order to define an open chain (80).

  • Patent number: 8434210
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for assembling, by screwing, a drive member, such as a drive pulley, with a shaft intended to be coupled to the rotor of a rotating electrical machine, the device including an additional, welded connection. According to the invention, this method of producing the assembly device is characterized in that the drive member screwed onto its shaft in the vertical position is welded from below. The invention can be used for rotating electrical machines, such as an alternator or a starter-alternator of a motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8354771
Abstract: A rotor (1) for a rotary electrical machine, which includes two pole wheels (2) having a series of axial claw poles (20) of a trapezoidal overall shape which extend axially from the extreme radial outer edge of the pole wheel (2a) toward the other pole wheel (2b), such that each pole claw (20a, 20b) of a pole wheel (2a, 2b) is situated in the space which exists between two consecutive claw poles (20a) of the other pole wheel (2b). The rotor (1) includes magnetic assemblies (3) in the interpole space (22). An assembly (3) is composed of at least one magnetic member (31) and at least one magnet (30), received in a groove (21) made in each of the facing edge faces of the two adjacent claw poles (20a, 20b). This has the advantage of increasing the cross-section for the flow of rotor flux towards the stator, and of enabling the same milling cutter as has already been used to make the grooves in the edge faces of the claw poles.

  • Patent number: 8008834
Abstract: The claw-pole-rotor shaft has a front end with a radially larger-sized section, two knurled regions known as crimping regions, intended to be assembled with the claw-pole rotor by local deformation of the material of the claw-pole rotor, and a centring region for centring the claw-pole rotor, the crimping regions being positioned on each side of the centring region while the centring region projects radially with respect to the crimping regions of the shaft, these themselves projecting radially with respect to the section of larger radial size at the front end of the shaft. The claw-pole rotor is characterized in that it is equipped with such a shaft while the rotary electrical machine is characterized in that it is equipped with such a rotor.
