  • Publication number: 20210115603
Abstract: The invention relates to a textile structure, intended to be used as a sound-absorbing structure in acoustic ceiling panels and/or acoustic wall panels, consisting of (a) a nonwoven mat of glass fibers bound by a thermoset binder, the nonwoven mat having a surface density of between 20 and 200 g/m2 and (b) a continuous acoustic layer comprising from 80% to 95% by weight of particles, preferably mineral particles, and from 5% to 20% by weight of a thermoplastic polymer and/or elastomer binder, the textile structure having an open porosity of greater than 3%, preferably between 4% and 60%, and a static airflow resistance (determined according to the standard ISO 9053) of between 1000 and 3000 N·s·m?3, said continuous acoustic layer at least partially impregnating said nonwoven mat, and the particle size distribution of the particles having a D10 of between 0.1 and 0.5 ?m.

  • Patent number: 9822194
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an entity comprising a particle attached to at least one polymer M through one or several supramolecular interactions -A-B- constituted by 2 to 8 hydrogen bonds X-H-Y, wherein A and B are functional groups respectively grafted to P and M thus forming the particle-containing entity P-(A-B-M)x with x being greater than or equal to 1, functional group(s) B being positioned at one end of the polymeric chain of polymer M, X and Y are heteroatoms present in A and B functional groups, H is hydrogen, and M has a degree of polymerization comprised between 5 and 1000, preferably ranging from 5 to 500. The invention is also directed to a method for preparing this particle-containing entity P-(A-B-M)x, a method for sequentially forming and breaking the supramolecular interactions -A-B- in said particle-containing entity P-(A-B-M)x and dispersions comprising the same.

  • Patent number: 9765163
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a particle-containing entity P-(A--B-M)x wherein P is a solid particle attached to at least one polymer M through one or several reversible covalent bonds -A---B-, wherein A and B are functional groups respectively grafted to P and M thus forming the P-(A---B-M)x particle-containing entity with x being greater than or equal to 1, M has a degree of polymerization comprised between 5 and 1000, preferably ranging from 5 to 500, and wherein the reversible covalent bond -A---B- is chosen among an imine, a disulfide, a boronic ester or an acetal. The invention is also directed to a method of preparing this particle-containing entity, a method for sequentially forming and breaking the reversible covalent bond -A---B- in said particle-containing entity P-(A---B-M)x and dispersions comprising same.
