    Abstract: In one embodiment, a scheme is disclosed for processing data in relation to a user's availability. The data relates to one or more time slots identified as available or unavailable, each time slot having a start time and an end time as well as an availability status indicator. The scheme involves determining an earliest of start times and a latest of end times associated with the time slots, and storing only the earliest of start times and latest of end times for the user so as to condense the availability information on a user-by-user basis.
